1-21-2017 Tidbits

I wasn’t sure if I was in mood to blog tonight or not, honestly, I haven’t been in mood for much of anything anyway and I decided that since I have nothing else to do for about an hour and half so I decided that I will use that time to blog about something. I know ever since the new year or this year in 2017 seems that I starts to lagging on blog as I usually write an article for every two days for the entire year of last year 2016 and so far, this year I have moved from one article in every two days to one article every weekend and I would like to apologize for that but I have been busy lately with the things that’s going on around here. Nothing to do with my health though, thankful for that and by being busy I mean advocating for the Affordable Care Act. I am still is and have been a vocal in Affordable Care Act especially for the state of Kentucky because Kentucky is one of few states that rely on it more than anything as most of them are people with disabilities like myself, retired coal miners and veterans or children of a parents that cannot afford the care for their child so they rely on that to get some medical assistance for their child too. Being one of several activists in the SaveACA (Save Affordable Care Act) campaign on social media, email, physical letters and whatever else the technology allows to send out a message to the government about the importance in the Affordable Care Act. Not only that, few of the Affordable Care Act advocates including myself had got some backlash from some of the people who opposes it and wish to repeal it without realizing that it’s not just for the people with disabilities but also for many of other reasons which I have included above. People with disabilities, veterans who were injured in war, retired coal miners after getting injured from coal mines as Kentucky is one of two or three states that is the home of coal, senior citizens, care for the child due to their parents not being able to afford to have any medical assistance for their child and I could go on all night but these are the keys in how it is important to not repeal Affordable Care Act. If absolutely must to repeal Affordable Care Act then if it will include expansion in Medicare, Medicaid and whatnot then for the rest of others is up to the people but all we ask is that the parts of Medicare, Medicaid and whatnot stays or expand.

I can understand that it takes a lot of money from taxpayers, believe it they are being put in good use and they are very appreciative for that generosity given from the people and the government but importantly the people since they partake in that by paying their taxes.

Anyway, I am going to go ahead and write the tidbits here because I don’t really have much of time as I am on limited time tonight and that goes the same for every other night but again it’s part of the life. I am hoping that I will only make this sweet and short with a couple or three of topics that I’d like to share my opinions or thoughts on.

2017 Politics Tidbits Response

I was shocked to see emails coming from a good number of people to compliment me on that article, especially about the #SaveACA and my confidence in Kentucky’s 93rd district representative Chris Harris. I see that some of you which I won’t name, shares the same views and concerns that I have on the importance of Affordable Care Act. It is unfortunate that the Republicans and the new administration or in this case new United States President Donald Trump is in a such hurry to repeal the Affordable Care Act. What a lot of people doesn’t know is that it wasn’t and isn’t really titled as Obamacare as it is titled under Affordable Care Act but then Republicans called it Obamacare so as of today, our former President Barrack Obama went with it on the name for the Affordable Care Act. Many of the people doesn’t see the intention in Affordable Care Act, sure it mandates every Americans to have insurance otherwise they would be fined with penalty but the important is that it at least gets people covered and with that it may as well prolonged some if not many American’s life. There is a story which I have posted the link in my 2017 Politics Tidbit article that I wrote last week where there was a man who didn’t have an insurance until he was forced to have an insurance otherwise he would be fined and he decided to get an insurance for himself, by doing that he was discovered with a cancer in early stage which it have saved his life. So, imagine if Affordable Care Act didn’t mandate that guy to have an insurance or that he would be fined then he wouldn’t have discovered that he has early stage cancer and few years later to find out that he have a cancer after being ill then it’d be too late to get any kinds of treatment to cure his cancer? So, that is the pro to the con, of course con is the mandates for the Americans to have insurance and if not that they would be fined but in the end, they are being taken care of whether they like it or not.

Not only that I was sad to see Barack Obama and Obamas family leaving the white house. They came in with dignity, pride, integrity and a true family’s people then left the same.

Donald Trump Inauguration

What do I think of Donald Trump’s inauguration today? I must say that it was so boring, while at the same time it shown the America have been divided as you could see that most the attendees were whites and there were barely any people of colors in the attendees. They only had close to or around 800 thousand of attendees while Barrack Obama had close to two million of diversified Americans, several white, people with colors, people with disabilities, veterans and even the aliens from the mars who knows. So, you could tell that it wasn’t special, of course it is historical one as every President’s inauguration is historic moments for the America every four years and Donald Trump’s inauguration is no different. I notice that Donald Trump didn’t walk as much as our former Presidents of the United States, Barrack Obama, George W. Bush, Bill Clinton and the father George Bush did during their inauguration parades. It was a bit odd seeing that as it’s one of many well-known traditional for the upcoming United States President, however I must say that his speech at inauguration were somewhat good but again it is a speech and the question is will that speech become the action? I am not sure but I guess in due time we will see.

Donald Trump Administration Removed Disabilities Off

The new white house administration, Donald Trump administration had removed several resources and valuable information off the white house website such as disabilities, LGBT and several of others. You can head over to the white house website, whitehouse.gov then type “Disability” or “Disabilities” and it will take you to an error page which that means it has no information or anything about American with Disabilities including the American with Disabilities Act on the new administration white house. Me being one with multi-disabilities, that offended me and rubbed me in the very wrong way to find out that they did it. I found out when I was notified by news through news app that Washington Post wrote an article saying that the Trump administration have wiped clean on anything related to disability or disabilities from the white house website and along with several other keywords including LGBT or whatnot. You can read the article about it below.

Security Software

On Monday I, have decided to buy a security software for all my window PCs including the newest one that I just got for Christmas (Omen X modified) and as well for my MacBook Pro laptop that I got for Christmas two years ago. For several years, I have been with one company named Iolo which you can easily find them at Wal-Mart or anywhere under the name of Systems Mechanic Pro and I have trusted them for more than almost seven or eight years. I was due for a renewal subscription so I have thought it over and decided that I would give another company a chance so I went with Norton. I wasn’t too sure about Norton because every time I get a new computer I would see Norton pre-installed as a bloatware and encouraging me to buy a subscription for several years. Every time I get a new computer I would always uninstall it the first thing before install the Iolo Systems Mechanic Pro that I have been with for several years, until this year as I have noticed that Iolo Systems Mechanic Pro that came with anti-malware, firewall and other securities never did a test against bunch of viruses or such while Norton have as they do religiously so I felt that I give them a chance. So, I bought a year subscription of premium for 10 computers from Wal-Mart, it came with Norton Utilities which is a bonus because that was the main reason I been with Iolo System Mechanic Pro for many years because it comes with utilities and security in one so now that Norton does too so that’s the reason it got me thinking into giving them a chance so I did. I installed it on the same day that I bought the subscription, I fell in love with Norton security immediately and along with their utilities tool although at the first it was a bit confusing because it was a wholly different comparing to what I have used with Iolo Systems Mechanic Pro. Before I have recommended Iolo Systems Mechanic Pro, which I will still do so and, I am now recommending Norton Security WITH Norton Utilities included. So, if you go to Wal-Mart or anywhere, be sure to look for the place on bottom left of the Norton Security box for Norton Utilities and if it says that it’s included then get that one!
