Hey guys and ladies! I hope that all of you are doing well! I know that this year hasn’t been too good to any of us thanks to the virus pandemic, as it unexpectedly disrupts many of our routines on the business level and as well on a personal level. I hope that all of you are protecting yourself if not for your elderly family members or friends and the people with health conditions since we know that anyone who is elder or who has health condition is the ones at the highest risk if they are exposed to COVID-19. I know it isn’t easy to distance ourselves from the elders or people with health condition ones to protect them, but there is always a way to take advantage of modern technology such as video chat. The more people who follow what the health officials ask of us, such as wearing masks and social distances at least six feet or further and washing our hands thoroughly, the quicker we can beat the invisible enemy of ours. If you refuse to do that, then at least do one right thing: to distance yourself from the elder ones or those who have health conditions because doing so would mean you would show them the respect they would for you. Just because you refuse to wear a mask or social distance does not tell that it is ok for you to ignore other people’s wish when you approach them because some of them will hope that you would give them at least respect by making sure that you don’t expose them by just walking up to them as if it is nothing. Even if you think that you don’t have COVID-19 or show any symptoms, you can still expose COVID-19 to others, and if these people are senior citizens or health conditions, you put them in danger of their lives, so please show at least some respect.

Barack Obama or Joe Biden Has Decades and Didn’t Do Anything!
I have been hearing that and seeing that excuse all over on social media, which I am getting a bit frustrated with because there is something that they did not think about why they didn’t get anything done in the decades of their career as politicians. I have an answer to that lame excuse so pay attention, please. Barack Obama or Joe Biden in their decades of a career as politicians or any other politician cannot get everything that we would like for them to do or for them to accomplish everything that they would want to do for us is because our republic makes it hard for them to do so. No, I do not mean Republicans – I mean Republic that our country (United States of America) is running as. You have to remember that we have three branches in our government that keep each other in check; one of them is the executive who is the President and Vice President, then there is the Congress, which has the House of Representatives and the Senate, then there is the Supreme Court. Congress is where the laws can be written and be made. It would be passed to the President’s oval office for his or her signature to officially make it as a law or veto to deny the law. The law would go back to congress to adjust or change to the president’s liking to get his or her signature. Congress can overturn the president’s veto with 2/3 of majority votes, and then it becomes the law of the land with no say from the United States President. If anyone wants to challenge that and that is where the United States Supreme Court comes in. So, now you get the idea of passing the bills and the bills to become the laws.
In the first two years of Barack Obama’s first term, the congress was controlled by Democrats, so that was why we see good things happening to the United States, especially with the passing of the Affordable Care Act and some of the others but then in 2012 which this was when Obama/Biden’s administration was going into the 3rd year of their first term the congress flipped to Republicans so Republicans controlled the congress. Because of that, Obama/Biden could not get everything they’d like done, so they turn to the Supreme Court. That was a clever move on Obama’s part allowing same-sex marriage in the United States everyone can be free to marry whoever they’d like. But other than that, they had a hard time getting anything done because, after the two years of Obama/Biden’s first term, the congress was in control of Republicans, and Republicans block everything that Obama/Biden administration and Democrats Congress want to accomplish for the Americans. So, suppose you’re going to blame Obama/Biden or the democrats for not doing much of anything. In that case, you are looking at the wrong place to blame because it was all to Republicans to allow or block anything that Obama/Biden wants to do for the Americans.
An Infamous Nurse From Williamson, Wv Appeared In RNC Shot A Woman In Williamson, Wv
Do you remember some weeks ago that we saw some news about a nurse hailing from Williamson in West Virginia who goes to New York City in New York to help with COVID-19 patients? Her name is Amy Jolene Thorn. She also appeared at the Republicans National Convention (RNC) to endorse the incumbent United States President Donald Trump on his re-election. I bet that now with recent news spreading around that the Republicans Nation Convention and Donald Trump’s campaign is very embarrassed because that the very same woman Amy Jolene Thorn shot a woman in Williamson, West Virginia, a few days ago. According to a criminal complaint from Mingo County Magistrate Court, Amy Jolene Thorn of Williamson, Wv, was charged with malicious or unlawful assault, a county of Williamson, Wv.

It is strange because we know that Republicans and Donald Trump are furiously protective of guns right. Then, one who appeared on national television to endorse Donald Trump at the Republicans Nation Convention shot a woman in the stomach in Williamson, Wv.

If you follow me on social media, you probably had already seen this celebration a few days ago. But if you have not, that makes me even more exciting to celebrate, even if it is a tiny thing. What am I talking about? JoshiesWorld has made it on two top lists on a viral website with different categories to make a top list of 100, 60, 25, etc. Almost like a billboard for music, this is for website one, and there are a few more others that do the same, but this website is a bit bigger one. As I said that JoshiesWorld is on two top lists, one of them is the top 60 Deaf Blogs & Websites in 2020, and one in the top 100 Kentucky Influencers, Blogs, Podcasts & YouTubers in 2020. On Top 60 Deaf Blogs & Websites, JoshiesWorld is ranked at #16, and Top 100 Kentucky Influencers, Blogs, Podcasts & YouTubers, JoshiesWorld is ranked at #90. That actually makes sense for JoshiesWorld to be ranked that low for Kentucky one and high for Deaf because in the commonwealth of Kentucky, there are thousands of thousands if not millions in a state (commonwealth), but in the Deaf one, there are even a lot smaller as there are not many of Deaf people who runs a website or blog.
It is an exciting milestone for JoshiesWorld. However, it is unfortunate that the rankings are not permanent as it can move up and down on that day; I will never forget the moment of seeing that JoshiesWorld is even ranked anywhere on the top lists! This is not all by me because JoshiesWorld cannot grow without all of you, so I truly thank you all so much for all of your contribution to the growth of JoshiesWorld and the support to help JoshiesWorld to grow to where they are today. Congratulation, Deaf Missions On ASLV Completion!
I want to congratulate Deaf Missions (DIII) on completing the American Sign Language (ASL) translation of sixty-six Bible books! Not only that, but I would also congratulate Deaf Missions for reaching another milestone as they did complete not only a translation in American Sign Language of sixty-six books but also the fiftieth anniversary for Deaf Missions (DIII)! Completing the American Sign Language translation in the same year that Deaf Missions become fifty years old is very fitting! As you know, there are many translations of Bibles in many different languages and as well versions – now, also, we have Bible ASLV (abbreviation for American Sign Language version). Because of that, now any Deaf people who want to read Bible can finally read the Bible in their primary language instead of struggling with reading other Bible versions such as English versions like KJV, NIV, or NLT. Praise God, and God bless these Deaf people who can now read the Bible easily in their native language!

Advocating For A Program For American Sign Language Interpreter In Pike County, Ky
The activists would be setting a few goals, sort of like a new year resolution but with activism for something that they would like to see to happen. I have been an advocate for many years in my county here in my commonwealth, Pike County in Kentucky. Last year I was working closely with a representative from Pike County, Ky, to try to advocate for equal access as my part as a representative of the Deaf Grassroots Movement of Ky and at the same time hoping that my activism in my county would also influence the rest of the commonwealth too. Now that we are heading to a new year, 2021 and I already have one goal that I would like to accomplish but not as a Deaf Grassroots Movement of Ky representative but also just on my own behalf for over 10,000 Deaf populations in Pike County, Ky while at the same time hoping that it would also influence the rest of the commonwealth. That one goal is that I would like to advocate and try to convince that it is necessary for Pike County, Ky, Martin County, Ky, eastern Kentucky, and as well the rest of the commonwealth that if they have a university or a college that they should come up with a program that would give the courses for anyone who want to become American Sign Language interpreters. A few months ago, I found out the hard way that we actually have no American Sign Language interpreter in Pike County, Ky. It was embarrassing that I had to find the hard way because I was contacted by Pike County Of Ky’s Executive Judge asking for help to search for an American Sign Language interpreter to interpret for the Pike County of Ky’s Executive Judge’s COVID-19 press conference.
When I was contacted by Pike County, Ky’s Executive Judge, I quickly contacted all of my networks within’ the Deaf community in Pike and Martin Counties in Ky, Kentucky Commissions on the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, but all I have gotten was that they don’t have a clue if we even have one who is a certified American Sign Language interpreter, so I was taken back by that. Over 10,000 Deaf populations in Pike County, Ky, and a bit over 2,000 Deaf people in Martin County, Ky don’t have one?! That says something. We need to advocate to have at least one college or university in the county that would provide a program for anyone who wants to learn American Sign Language then become a certified interpreter. I can already see a perfect university here in Pike County, Ky, that is large enough and has good money coming in. Still, they don’t offer a program for American Sign Language interpreters – University of Pikeville (UPike). Yes, the University of Pikeville is well-known as the university that people go to become doctors. Still, at least the university has space. I am sure that they can expand a few more programs that the University of Pikeville could offer to make the county more accessible while at the same time opening a brand new job opportunity which is American Sign Language interpreters to interpret for over 10k Deaf populations in Pike County of Ky or over 2K in Martin County of Ky. Pike County, Ky is the largest county in Kentucky, and doesn’t have an American Sign Language interpreter?! Again, that says something as well! That will be my goal of 2021 as an activist to advocate for at least a college or university in both counties to offer a program for American Sign Language interpreter. I hope that the representatives (representative, executive judge, senator, etc.) from both counties would work with me to make it happen.
Note – If any of you who know me close asks me what about my interpreter throughout my schools? She has retired a long while ago, she was only trained to interpret in the education field, and we need one that can do it in all areas, including medical, justice, and others. This is why you barely or don’t see me anywhere at any event. As well at any church, it is because there is no American Sign Language interpreter – I am not going to go there to sit and not knowing what anyone is saying.
Cannot Be United States President And Only Help A Certain Group
The right leadership of a United States president should advocate, work, and help all people in the United States. Someone who becomes a president of the United States would only do that for a specific group, such as a group of wealthy people and the President’s political party’s supporters instead of all people. Whether they like the president or not, it is their duty to do it for all of the people who live in the United States, even for those who voted for that president and the ones who voted for that president’s opposite candidate. The United States of America is not a country without all people, specific groups such as wealthy people, and the supporters of a political party or those who support the United States president. The United States or any other country runs by all people, whether they are taxpayers or not taxpayers, because everyone has their part to contribute to their country, such as their knowledge, working for others, helping others, or becoming the defenders of their country joining the military. Everyone has different ways to contribute to their country, make what their country is, and a president of that country should not be dismissive of them. Whether it be the United States or another country, the president of a country has a duty to serve all of the people in the United States or that country they were elected to be president.
The leadership in the president of any country is critical. Not every president and as well not every candidate has the leadership skills to lead a country. The true leader would represent all of the people instead of a specific group that they like. Unfortunately, it is happening in the United States as we have a president who only helps his wealthy friends or supporters while dismissing everyone else. What is even worse is that the United States president would be willing to go as far as to mock, insult, degrade, and whatnot the people who may disagree with how he operates as a president. Still, these people are Americans that the president was sworn to protect and serve. Why would we want a president with no leadership skill, and who would do such a thing like that to its own people, even those who disagree with the president? This is when we as Americans know that it is time to elect someone else instead of the incumbent president who would only serve a small group of people instead of all the Americans that the president was sworn an oath to serve and protect. If you are voting for Donald Trump, how can you even have the audacity to actually want to vote for him knowing that he does all of these? That is something that I can never understand. It is time that the presidency to be given to someone else who has a proven record and who has experience – Joe Biden. We only have a few days left, and please go and vote! If not for Joe Biden, fine, but still go and vote because it is something that we should not underestimate because our rights to vote could be easily taken away if we have the wrong people, such as the current ones in the Republican Party in control of our country.
Massachusetts’ Chief Advocate For The Deaf Has Been Fired
The Chief Advocate for the Deaf in Massachusetts, head of Massachusetts Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing named Steven Florio, has been fired recently following a state investigation into his connections to his university fraternity that is known for wearing robes resembling those of KKK and making Nazi-like salutes. The university that they are referring to is Gallaudet University. The fraternity that they are referring to is Kappa Gamma fraternity, which has a very long list history of racism – I have written a little about it; you can find it here. It is good to see that actions are being taken for those who participate in that sort of behavior, such as doing nazi-salutes and wearing robes that resemble KKK because it is unacceptable. I think that other states and organizations should follow the Massachusetts example of not tolerating to have them who are connected to a racist fraternity running an organization, especially that serve the Deaf community.

Netflix’s Deaf U
I am sure that by now, a lot of you in the Deaf community who have watched Netflix’s new show called Deaf U, and I see some reviews vlogs on Deaf U. I have a few of you asking me about my opinion on Netflix’s Deaf U. I avoided to respond because, to be honest with you I have not watched Netflix’s Deaf U yet. After seeing that people complain that there is no diversity or at least a lack of diversity in Deaf U, especially for people of colors women, I immediately lost interest in wanting to watch Netflix’s Deaf U. One thing for sure is that I am not in a hurry to watch Deaf U, eventually, I might and maybe I will do a review of Deaf U, but right now I am going for the ones that I am interested in most then I will get to Deaf U when I run out of the interested ones. The 2020 Election Results Will Be Late
This year due to many reasons, such as COVID-19 pandemic, mail-in ballots, absentee ballots, which is pretty much the same as mail-in ballots, early voting, and in-person voting on the election day, along with some being postmarked or is graced for a few more days later – the 2020 election results night becomes the election results week instead. For many elections, we would be announced the winners of different government positions on the night of the election, November 3rd. Still, because of all of these reasons, it is looking more likely that the election night results will become election week results, which means we will not get the final result or the totals for each candidate to be declared a winner. I suspect that there might be some areas or states that might go ahead and declare a winner. However, while they still count the votes, it could flip, so if you want to have an accurately declared winner for different positions, whether it be governor, senator, representative, president, city officials, or others, we would probably have to wait for a few days before we can for sure know which one have won the election. COVID-19 pandemic has changed everything, our routines, the nation’s economy everywhere, and the elections are no different.

So if you wondered why some places or even a presidential election result did not arrive on that election night, then now you know the answer. I know that many of us will be impatient and anxious while waiting for the results because they are right that this election will determine what impacts that the Americans would like to see the United States have. This is why it is so crucial that you vote, and we only have four days now, but if you have not voted, you can still go and vote on the election day nearest your polling place.
Stock Market Is Not The Economy!
Some government officials, such as congress and some presidents, especially the current one (Donald Trump), make it as if the stock market is the economy or that the stock market reflects the United States economy. I hate to burst your bubble; the stock market does not reflect our economy here in the United States, and the stock market is NOT the economy. The stock market can break records every day, and the economy would still be at the bottom. The stock market can hit the lowest record every day, and the economy can be roaring. Some people would say that if we were to elect the opposite candidate who runs for the presidency or a seat in Congress that the stock market would tank, and my answer to that would be good because I look at the stock market as the corporations who are greedy or who is trying to show that they have bigger genital. People do not realize that the United States relies heavily on small businesses’ economy. Small businesses have no hands in the stock market. Because of that, it is why the stock market does not reflect the economy. Who pays the taxes most on the business side? Small businesses because many large corporations do not or barely pay their taxes; therefore, the United State’s economy depends on small businesses. With that, the stock market does not matter, and people should not look at the stock market to get an idea if our economy is growing or tanking. Yes, the stock markets can be permanently shut down, and the economy would still be roaring while the United States continues to bring in large revenue or profits thanks to the taxes that they collect from the small businesses.
If you see people saying that if President Trump lost and Joe Biden is elected to be the next president of the United States, we would see the stock market pummeling should not jump to the conclusion. Besides the fact that the stock market is not the economy but in case if you are a worrywart over the stock market, the stock market will be fine and what is, even more, is that if you look at the history of the stock market or economy, you would see that often any time we have a democrat president that we would see more increase in the economy than we would with the republican president. What is the most important that we have to focus on is the economy, which again is not reflected by the stock market because a perfect example is that we are seeing the stock market is hitting records for a few years now, but our economy is pummeling especially in the numbers of loss for job opportunities. If we want to have a great economy, we must look at the statistic of job gain or job growth instead of looking at the stock market because most of the companies on the stock market are large corporations. The economists say that the most important indicator for the economy is the gross domestic product (GDP), not the stock market because the more stocks that they sold means that they get more profits for their pockets and maybe money to produce more products or improve their existing products while the small businesses rely on us people instead of the number stocks that they sold.

Yes, an idea of an economic indicator from the stock market is a myth. The stock market is mostly for the owners of larger corporations and not for the United States economy since we know that many of them do not pay taxes. Please stop saying that if Joe Biden wins that the stock market would tank, that will make our economy poor like President Trump often touts. Even that goes the same for President Trump; if President Trump wins the re-election and sees the stock market pummels does not mean that our economy also pummels. Our economy is in bad shape already; it is getting worse every day, and our so-called stock market is hitting high records so that they do not reflect the economy.
