No long time see here, I know I haven’t written a blog post in a very long time, specifically about 2 and half months to three months as the last time I have made a blog post were in April. I know I made a blog post last week but that doesn’t really count it because that was only a very short blog post to inform you all that I was sorry for not being able to write anything for that long due to health reasons and I am still dealing with that but I felt that where I have not written anything for that long that I should do something about it so I am doing something about it here. As for my health issues, I still won’t share any details because it is private matters but I can say that it is something to stop me from writing and still is but I have an idea that I should just write a few sentences and whatnot then take a break so not to put too much pressure on myself. Nonetheless, there are a few or maybe a lot of things that I would like to share with all of you and I hope that all of you will enjoy the new snippets article that I am writing today with some interesting topics that I have saved for a while as I have written some of the topics when it pops up in my head all these months.
Just so you know, I never will stop blogging because it is my passion as always but for the time being my health is a bit more important than that to me and I hope that all of you understand! 8-15-2018 Snippets
There are a few of topics that I have on the list, actually rather an old list of topics that I have wanted to talk about along with few of recent new topics that I have added to the list and maybe one or a couple of topics on the fly while I am thinking as I type so I hope you enjoy the new snippets article for once of all!
2018 Midterm Election
As many of you know that the 2016 election were awful, one of the worst elections we have ever had in centuries if not ever and we ended up electing the people that we never asked for or never hoped for. That election caused the United States that we know divided more than ever especially these people who supports Donald Trump. I am sorry, he is the one who caused this division and his supporters are enabling him in doing so. I don’t know about you but I am have got annoyed with the way it is going lately with the people, especially Republicans and conservatives who would do nothing but attack them with anything that they can find on them because they couldn’t come up or find any facts to back them up especially when Democrats or Liberals showed them the facts. I have saw that every time when Republicans tried to say something untrue as always, Democrats would politely show them facts or research to back every thing that they have said and Republicans does not like that as they had nothing to back themselves up so they would go after them by insulting them with what they can find on them. That behavior is tiresome, childish and immature. I was one of many who became a victim of this, when one of Republicans made a homophobia slur in their video in a group on Facebook and I had him called out for it because it was unacceptable and that dude ended looking up for information on my Facebook profile then take any information I had on my profile to attack me with. Whether it be my appearance, my ideology and some of just plain information that I had shared with my family or close friends. I was taken back by that especially I never thought that Republicans or conservative people would do such a thing like that but unfortunately it seems that it is all they do which is a bit immature in my opinion.
Because of that behavior, along with how our own President continues backstabbing the very own country that he is president of and taking sides with other countries who would want more than seeing United States to go down. Yes, I am referring to a country like Russia and please do not twist my words on this because I am only speaking of its own government but not its people. The government in United States, every branch is controlled by Republicans and none of them can ever get anything done as it seems while the entire Democrats are united more than ever. You can find that in many of bills voting, Republicans are more divided than ever as you can see that not the entire Republicans can come to an agreement and have total votes enough to pass a bill while every single Democrats vote against so that speaks loud because it shows that Democrats are more unified than ever especially that every Democrats came to an agreement by having full votes from Democrats while Republicans struggles to do so.
So, in my opinion that it would be the best for this country is that if the Democrats take back the controls of both branches in representatives and senates then they would be able to get bills passed that we asked of them instead of Republicans refusing to be unified and come up with all the votes to pass something that Americans asked of them. It’s time, your vote is more matter than ever especially in this 2018 midterm and in 2020 as well. In this midterm would means that we would be able to take back the controls of both branches while having a Republican president in the white house and with that we would be able to put a lid on all the troublesome that the president is making because apparently it seems that Republicans will not putting a lid on that any time soon. At least for the time being, until we put a Democrat back in the white house in 2020 and then we can for once of all have a smooth-sailing government by making sure that every branch will be taken back by Democrats including the white house.
The Words of Deaf/HOH, Deaf and Hard of Hearing
Why must we separate ourselves with that labels such as “Deaf and Hard of Hearing” when we could simply say “Deaf” or if must “Deaf/HOH”? It is a discussion that is going on in the Deaf community over in one of the Facebook’s group talking about this topic and I gave an answer about this. In my opinion, I think that everyone of us should simply say that we are Deaf and be proud of that instead of using more than one labels to define ourselves like Deaf and Hard of Hearing. I think that by asking someone a question with “Are you Deaf/HOH?” is unified question because it would show that the community are unified instead of having to divide ourselves by a line such as Deaf AND Hard of Hearing. If I am going to ask somebody in that community then I will simply ask are you Deaf? Or maybe, are you Deaf/HOH? Because it is more dignified and united question than asking a question with “are you Deaf and Hard of Hearing?” because it will give them an opportunity to answer which one they are such as “I am Deaf” or “I am Hard of Hearing” which a bit is not dignified in my opinion.
Enough with the police television shows!
I can never understand why a lot of people who are crazy about police or law related television shows, because apparently there a lot of them seems to receive high ratings or enough of viewers to encourage many of networks to keep on making more and more television shows titles. I won’t say that I am not a fan of any of them because there are a few of them that I am a fan of, such as P.I. Magnum, JAG, NCIS and Hawaii Five-0. But what some of you may not notice is that all these shows are old except Hawaii Five-0, because these are good enough of police or law related television shows even if they are old or new but is it necessary to go out of control and produce unimaginable numbers of television shows titles? I can remember back then when these popular television networks such as CBS, ABC, USA, TNT and others air different categories of television shows which is what makes it very entertaining and possibly keeps us on that same network instead of switching to another networks. Now, these television network channels seem to only air police or law related television shows repeatedly instead of airing one police or law related show, drama show and then fantasy show but now it airs every police or law related television shows in rows 24/7 which can be very eyesore for me. It is a fast turnoff for me as I can no longer stand to stay on the same network channel or any of these networks I mentioned above because these popular network channels seems to only air police or law related shows most of the times and we would be lucky to have one or two episodes of a different category of television shows out of all episodes of so many different of police or law related television show titles.
Seriously, stop that crap. Just same with networks like History or Discovery, more so of History channel because they air most of the cars related shows now rather than other categories like educational or whatnot that they used to do. Am I only one who starts to get sick of seeing too many of police or law related television shows? Let me know by leaving a comment below!
Registry Interpreters for the Deaf aka RID’s situations
What is my opinion on the situations that is going on with Registry Interpreters for the Deaf aka RID? I have gotten that question from few of the people via my Facebook page. I only know a very little about the situations, so I can say that I am disappointed in them for even picking a hearing who happens to be Child of Deaf Adults aka CODA over more than qualified Deaf person who has PhD degree while the hearing one doesn’t. Only thing that I know of the hearing person that they picked over the Deaf candidate for CEO position is that he comes from medical industry or similar and that kind of scares me a bit because we know how the medical industry usually views us Deaf community as. Most medical industry views us Deaf community as the people who needs to be fixed, who has a disease and the list can go on. Registry Interpreters for the Deaf is a non-profit organization with a purpose of making sure the interpreters do their work properly by following code of professional conduct and also they gives certifications that is needed for the interpreters to be able to work in more professional fields such as medical and whatnot which is most of the interpreters cannot do so without the certification from Registry Interpreters for the Deaf. So, bringing a hearing person who works in medical industry as a CEO which make no sense over more qualified Deaf person who knows the culture of Deaf community thoroughly and have the knowledge of what Deaf community looks for in the American Sign Language interpreters. Many of the people are saying that Registry Interpreters for the Deaf should be disbanded and then have someone possibly from a Deaf organization such as National Association of the Deaf or others to form a non-profit organization to do what Registry Interpreters for the Deaf supposed to do by serving the Deaf community while doing the right thing. I got to say that I somewhat agree that Registry Interpreters for the Deaf should be disbanded because the reputation for the Registry Interpreters for the Deaf is so bad that they might never be able to improve it especially with the way Registry Interpreters for the Deaf have done to the Deaf community along with having someone associated to the Registry Interpreters for the Deaf to go to court and defend the plaintiff instead of defending more than one Deaf defendant as it caused all of three Deaf defendants to lose in court which makes her hypocrisy in some way especially that Registry Interpreters for the Deaf SERVES the Deaf community. So, yes – I am all for the disbanding of Registry Interpreters for the Deaf. If you want to learn more about this, I suggest you head over to social media like Facebook and search engine like Google then search into this to get better understanding or idea of this whole ordeal.
Another thing I want to add, especially a message to the Registry Interpreters for the Deaf aka RID: Without us, you are nothing. The very reason that Registry Interpreters for the Deaf has interpreters, CEO, board and a building for the staffs of RID to works in is because we exist so we have the power to do what we want. Whether it be making sure that we stop using you, this will put you out and form another for ourselves that serves us rather than themselves like the ones at Registry Interpreters for the Deaf people do. Remember this.
Short Film “The End”
I don’t know if any one of you have watched this short film before or not, if you are in the Deaf community then you might have watched it and some of you may not have watched it as I just have discovered this short film today. I will share a link or the clip below for all of you to watch. This short film is about genocide of the Deaf community in United Kingdom, in this short film has variety of the Deaf people in it such as Deaf-centric person, cochlear implants, hearing device especially dating back in 80s with a big box on the chest and hearing aids in today’s technology. Again, as I said it is about genocide of the Deaf community, there are scientists in medical industry dedicates all of their time in coming up with a cure for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing people using stem cells or coming up with newer technology that has something to do with the devices that provide some sounds like hearing aids. What many don’t know is that there are a lot of us Deaf people who asks to be left alone that we don’t need to be fixed or anything, because truthfully, we are proud of being Deaf and to have a rich culture that we are immersed in. Scientists who are working on some kinds of a cure or treatments for hearing loss (a word we dislike) need to realize that doing something is wrong, we have a culture that we are very proud of and we simply do not want to be fixed because we don’t need to be fixed.
I highly recommend you watch the short film, it is truly inspiring film in some way and it is a great way to make you think about the ramification that scientists causing everyday to the Deaf community. Here is the short film you can watch, and it is free with closed captions!

Fox News as Source
I cannot fathom how I am sick of seeing a lot of closed minded and conservative people only use one news source instead of using more than just the news source that they trust which happens to be heavily biased, so they would support anything they say with false information and no facts. Every time I ask for sources, links to any articles or news that they talk about whatever it is the government do for this country that we are in which is United States and every single time they would only respond with links to Fox News and nothing else. I even asked for another one, independent ones rather than sharing any biased sources that sides with Republicans or Democrats and they still only share Fox News. Here is an image that I have found in a group where you can see which sources are trustworthy and are the ones that everybody should follow especially independent ones to back up anything we says because it would make our debate or discussion more unbiased as they would be coming from unbiased sources such as independent news. I highly recommend that news, you will see which news that are biased and which news that are not so to give you an idea what news you should be following because most of the times that Fox News says are only on one side with Republicans as they are conservative based news.

When I discovered this music video a couple of months ago, I was mind blown and terrified in good way because both the song and music video bluntly tell you what is going on in United States. Photos of Hearing Aids
What is matter with these people who like to share some photos of their hearing aids molds? Every time I saw it, I almost had to run to the trash can to puke because it is most disgusting thing I have ever seen in my life and this has nothing to do with the fact that I am against the hearing aids or cochlear implants industry because it is fact where they have been in their ears then have the feel of need to take a picture of them makes me wanting to puke. Seriously, please stop taking pictures of the molds for your hearing aids and whatnot because they aren’t something to show off.
The People of United States
I don’t think that there are a lot of people realize that they have power in what we want and how we want our government to run in state level or federal level. What power do we have? Tons but I will give a couple of examples that we have as constituents or citizens in state level or federal level. Usually, when there are candidates that is running for state or federal level office would be more than happy to have a conversation with us because they know that we are the ones who they rely in order for them to be elected to the office they seek and not many people know that it is normal for us to contact any of the candidates that we would like to ask some questions on what they would do for us if we elect them or give them some kind of demands that we look from them to do for us if we want to have them elected to the office that they seek. I did just that by using Twitter to ask my county and district representative which they were more than happy to answer although I do notice that almost no one who runs as Republican would be willing to answer but if they are running as Democratic party then they seems to make all efforts they possibly could to have any of answers that we have answered. I asked a Democrat candidate and Republican candidate few of the same questions, none were answered from a Republican candidate and Democrat answered all of them – even going further by making sure that we have a ways of contact to each other to keep ourselves in touch to work together on some of things that I expect out of them. Secondly, of course vote and vote! It is every American’s duty to go to the poll place and cast a vote for whoever we would like to see to be elected for the office that they run for. It is important that we compare both of political party ideology so to give you a better idea of who we would like to be the majority in House of Representatives, Senate and President of the United States. Because whatever it is that we would like a change in our country, district or in our county it is important that we elect which most party to take over and be the majority of so that they can get things done because if our ideas are similar with that one political party while other political party doesn’t have similar ideas that we have then it would be almost impossible for them to get anything done that we would like to see so keep that in mind when you go to the poll to cast a vote.
If you haven’t register to vote, it is very simple and free to register – which it can be done either by in person at your local court house, post office or online depending on if your state allows which they should be. If you would like to register online, you can do so at vote.org.
Farmers Aids by President Trump
It is very funny how Republicans and conservatives would do everything in their power to either cut or disband social security and food stamps for the citizens that actually needs them especially the people who are senior citizens or disabled but when it comes to farmers being screwed by their very own president by playing with tariffs on other countries then jumped in to give the funds to the farmers which is practically the same thing. They fight to make sure that the farmers get billions of aids but when it comes to their citizens they want to cut off a couple of hundreds per citizen comparing to billions of dollars in farmers hands? That is nonsense and unfair too. Guess what? That is the socialism that some of the Republicans so scared of like as if they say candy man three times that he would pops up in the mirror seriously.

Andrew Lincoln Is Leaving the Walking Dead
Shocking news came to The Walking Dead television show fans that Andrew Lincoln is indeed leaving The Walking Dead, in case if you don’t know who Andrew Lincoln is then you would know him by none other than Rick Grimes who happens to be the main character since the beginning when he woke up from the hospital after a long coma and waking up to an earth full of the dead but only few of people who survived including his own family but then his wife was the first to get killed by their own son Carl after his wife Lori gave new birth to Judith. Judith is the second child of Rick Grimes, Carl being the first and eldest. Here is a spoiler, so if you don’t want to know anything happens in the season 8 then stop reading forward this point! That son of Rick Grimes, Carl became the second of the Grimes family that has been killed, Carl was with The Walking Dead since the beginning too after Rick Grimes found out that his family somewhere with someone else, a man named Shane who was Rick Grimes partner when they were working as officer and Shane made that family thinking that Rick Grimes was already been killed since the beginning but to their surprise he wasn’t as he bumped into his own family. This upsets Shane because Shane wanted Rick’s wife and the rest of his family to himself but in the end the family ran back to Rick especially that they have discovered that Rick Grimes was still alive after Shane lying to them that he wasn’t. Nonetheless, fast forward to season 8 and only remaining of the family was Rick, Carl and Judith but then in the end of the Season 8 Carl was killed after getting a bite from the dead after helping one person out without his father’s or their group’s knowledge until in the end after Carl tells them what happened right before he was died due to that bite he got from the dead. Now, only remaining of the Grimes family are Rick himself and Judith his second child. In Comic-con recently, Andrew Lincoln aka Rick Grimes have announced and confirmed the rumors that he is indeed leaving The Walking Dead after the new upcoming season 9. So, that would mean Judith would be the only Grimes remains and I truly don’t see how that will works out because Judith is still a toddler now. I suspect that Daryl, as they said will take Andrew Lincoln’s place as casting roll number one and become the leading role so it is going to be interesting to see where they will go without Andrew Lincoln aka Rick Grimes as the main role unless he changes his mind after season 9 which would be awesome because Andrew Lincoln is pretty much the FACE of The Walking Dead but it is understandable that Andrew Lincoln wants to depart from the show because he want to spend his time with his family especially that he lives in another country as it is a bit far from where the show produces at. It is going to be interesting show to watch without Rick Grimes, more so it is going to be interesting to watch what they do and how they do with Rick Grimes leaving the show by either being killed or by leaving the group on his own then gone? I don’t know, it is going to be interesting for sure especially in season 9.

Photos Effects and Others
I cannot stand seeing any pictures that has some of the things on them, these butterfly crown and other crap things on their pictures. I always think that stuff like that ruins the picture right away as soon as you put something on them. Effect are fine, when I say effect I mean changing the outlook of the pictures such as tone – from white, black, brighter, darker and others. But putting some of the things on the picture such as crown, hearts, butterfly crowns and whatever else they have is a big no no because they just make the picture look disturbing bad.
Calibrate Your MacBook’s Battery
I better get going because I am running low on battery for my MacBook Pro, where all my works are, and I am running the battery out of my MacBook Pro on purpose for a reason. I am doing that to calibrate the MacBook Pro’s battery to make sure that battery is up and maximized. You can calibrate your MacBook by charging your MacBook full for two hours while in use then unplug to run the battery out of your MacBook, when you get the warning that your MacBook is about to sleep because the battery is running out then close all the important stuff you have on your MacBook and continue using it such as surfing on the internet until your MacBook goes into sleep automatically. When it does, after it goes to sleep by itself you turn the MacBook off and wait at least five hours minimum before plugging the charger back in your MacBook to full charge then you are done with calibrating the MacBook’s battery!
