Endorsements For the US and Ky Election 2020

This is a public endorsement for JoshiesWorld, owned by a citizen in Pike County, the Commonwealth of Kentucky in the United States of America. As Joshua Sullivan of JoshiesWorld, I would like to publicly endorse the candidates in this upcoming election of 2020 in the United States of America and Kentucky and the candidates in my county, Pike County, Ky. Many news media, journalists, bloggers, and others are known for endorsing candidates in the political election, so JoshiesWorld is joining the news media who endorses candidates for political election!

President and Vice Price of the United States of America

Every United States presidential election is crucial for all people in the United States of America because they are the country’s highest leadership position. As critical as the representatives and the senators, but they mostly shape a state rather than the country, both president and vice president shape the country. As important as the state’s congresses for the United States House of Representatives and the Senate too. In my opinion, every election is equally important. This is why we should never dismiss any election, whether it be a midterm election or a general election, because all of them shape how we want our government to make our lives easier. We know that this past four years, ever since the last general election, the election where we voted for president and vice president has shaped our country in the wrong way. The election 2016 did not shape or do the American’s goals for the country justice. The United States elected (lost popular votes but won electors votes) a president and vice president who paint our country as a terrible image. Unfortunately, we have an administration that does not care about its citizens. They are known for throwing all kinds of insults, who like to belittle the citizens, and who do not know that how he is a president is also how our country is being reflected as. We went from a dignified, a powerhouse, a country that would never walk away when our allies asked for our help or mistreated our allies while treating our adversaries with respect, which is a 360-degree turnaround, not what the United States is known for. We have a president who mocks the disabled people, who mock evangelicals behind the doors, who does not care about us enough to do what is right for all of the people in the United States instead of only for a particular group, and we know that is white supremacists or Republicans heavily-controlled states including my state Kentucky. Donald Trump has repeatedly refused to condemn white supremacists. He has called them “very fine people,” something that a United States president should not have done – calling them “very fine people” and refusing to condemn the white supremacist groups.

We show that we are better than that; it is time that we let our country be reflected in a better way and be dignified once again before the 2016 election. It is time that we have someone who knows how to be a president and who knows how to be a vice president. We do not need a president and vice president running the white house with a bunch of their families with zero experience in dealing with other countries or doing some policymaking that would not help everyone equally. We have someone in the white house who will not threaten their staff, the citizens who disagree with them, and who has all of us in the best interest over their own, including their families or friends. It is time that we have a president and vice president who, for once of all, will help us to beat COVID-19 so that we can finally get our lives back instead of the one that we have right now who tell us to do everything opposite of what Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommended. It is time that we get our economy back but much better, and it is time for someone in the white house who is willing to find a way to unify us because the one we have in the white house right now is doing everything that he can to divide us even further.

For many more other reasons, I cannot go for the one who does not know how to be a president in my good conscience. So for that, I am endorsing Joe Biden as the next president and Kamala Harris as the next vice president of the United States of America.

Joe Biden has been known as a very moderate politician throughout his career as a politician, which is why many Republicans and Democrats like him (this is how he can pull in votes from both sides). Even though he is a Democrat, which is something that I am strongly aligned with, but Joe Biden is a lot more of a moderate than the ideal Democrat politician, so this is why I know that Joe Biden can bring both parties on the table to discuss on how to comprise for the better of the United States. Our current president of the United States, Donald Trump, often refused to invite the Democrat senators or representatives to the white house to discuss laws. A president must bring both parties to the same table; whether we like it or not, we have to have both Democrats and Republicans to work together so that every law they pass would be for all people in the United States instead of only a particular group that are more aligned with Republicans or more aligned with Democrats. We need someone who knows how diplomacy works. Joe Biden has the know-how when it comes to diplomacy as it was what Joe Biden did as a Vice President where he would travel to many countries to meet with their leaders and find a common grounds for both countries that we can agree on to build an allyship that they can trust or we can trust. Joe Biden has always been the one who listens to the people regardless of who they are; there is towering evidence that Joe Biden has listened to his citizens every chance he could get, and we know that Donald Trump does not because only the ones that Donald Trump would listen is his family members, his friends or a very biased news media Fox News instead of others which what Joe Biden has done while he was the vice president and he will do so as the president. We know that by far that Donald Trump does not go to church; here is something that some people does not know or aware of is that Joe Biden has been going to church during his vice presidency, and Donald Trump hasn’t been to a church until that day when he only went to the front of a church in Washington D.C. for a photoshoot which was the only closest time that he came to a church.

Joe Biden is genuinely a Christian; to be specific, he is a Catholic, but it is under the Christianity umbrella. Joe Biden fought hard to ensure that everyone has affordable healthcare, hence the Affordable Care Act. The previous administration (Obama/Biden) stated that it was merely a new vehicle and a starting point to improve or build from there. We know Donald Trump does not want the Americans to have healthcare; otherwise, he would have already shown us the new healthcare law that he has promised several times in many interviews with some conservative biased news media which some of them have pointed out that they have repeatedly asked Donald Trump every time where they are, but Donald Trump kept on saying that he will have it out the next week. A few months later, he was interviewed again, and they asked him where they are, which he answered that he would release one next week (repeatedly). So that says loud and clear that he does not have a healthcare law or even come close to preparing for one if the Affordable Care Act were to be successfully repealed. Donald Trump is known as a serial liar, there are many others that I can think of what he is known for, but that is saying he is a serial liar is only superficial and in the nicest possible way.

I am tired of that; I am tired of watching our country is being stripped of its dignity every day, and I am tired of not seeing anything done that for once of all that would help all of the Americans instead of only for the rich people. Not everyone in the United States is rich, so many of the laws or executive orders do not even come close to being applied to them but only to the rich people. I am tired of watching our president mocking disabled people, which I am one of them, so it hurt my feelings to see my own country’s president mocking the disabled community, and I am tired of being embarrassed by how we treat our allies. I am tired of having a president who says that our United States soldiers are losers and suckers. I am saying enough is enough, and I am endorsing Joe Biden so that the country can, for once of all, have a peace of mind while at the same time to start rebuilding the dignity that it had lost since January 20th, 2017. As for Kamala Harris, I think that good pick but not the one I’d like, but at the same time, I know that Kamala Harris as a vice president can bring a lot to the table to help Joe Biden to reshape the country to be better than ever while not leaving anyone out. They both are all for the Americans; they make it known that we will come first before the rich people do, and that is why they have empathized that their new tax plan does not affect any of us who make less than $400,000 a year. Joe Biden’s new tax policy would only affect rich people who can easily afford to pay off a tax and does not lose any sleep over it. They want to tax the people who make $400,000 a year to gain the revenue to help fund different things such as police departments, fire departments, public schools, healthcare, and many others.

Nonetheless, I am endorsing Joe Biden and Kamala Harris as the next United States President and Vice President for countless reasons.

Kentucky House District 93rd

In a seat in the house of representatives in Kentucky for 93rd district, which represents two counties, Pike County, Ky, and Martin County, Ky. Two candidates on the ballot running for the Kentucky House District 93rd seat are a Democrat Rod Varney of Forest Hills, Ky in Pike County, and a Republican Norma-Kirk McCormick. I am endorsing a candidate that I more than know who will genuinely represent both counties equal, who will listen to both counties people rather than running for the seat for gratification or only for the interest of himself/herself, and who will not jeopardize our lives when it comes to many things such as healthcare, all of amendments rights and others with dignity – Rod Varney. Rod Varney is for everyone regardless of their backgrounds; this includes the BIPOC (black, indigenous, people of color) community, senior citizens, Deaf and Hard of Hearing community, disabled community, educators community, and gun owners community, and many of other communities.

Norma-Kirk McCormick has run two times and lost all against the outgoing representative Chris Harris as he runs for the seat in Supreme Court in Kentucky. She runs again for the third time, but this time, she runs against Rod Varney; that says one thing is that she kept running because she wants the seat in the house of representatives for herself and not for the people in both counties. We do not need someone who runs for gratification reason and herself. We need someone who is truly a grassroots hailing from a rural area that has been around for decades helping many of people whenever they are needed, including the time that he was a principal for Belfry High School in Belfry, Ky and also coached a sports team for many years as well so he has dealt with many children throughout his career wonderfully. He is a deacon in the local’s church for many years. Hence, he is a very Christian man who knows that everyone’s lives are valuable, who knows that when people need help, it is important to help them in any way, and he never would ignore anyone’s needs for support. I am a Deaf person and have multi-disability, so I belong to both the Deaf and disabled communities. I was one of the hundreds of students that attended his school when he was a principal; when I needed some help with accessibility, he would make sure that I get it, just like when I said I need a ramp for the JROTC room because it has stairs so he had the ramp built right away and when the wheelchair lift stopped working in a lunchroom I had it reported he made sure that it gets fixed right away. He did not complain; he wanted me to have as much as education that I could get, so he made sure that I have my way to get it, which in that case, building a ramp and making sure that the wheelchair lift works all the time. When I go to his office for any reason, he would always approach me with a smile and stand ready for any help that I need or thousands of students throughout his career as a high school principal need his help.

Rod Varney had thousands of students back, hundreds of teachers and staff’s back throughout his career as a Belfry High School principal. He has his neighbors and strangers back. He will have the people in Pike County, Ky, and Martin County of Ky back. I could keep going on because there is a lot to say things about Rod Varney. I could not think anything negative about him because there is none, and he has had all of our backs, so in return, I am going to have his back! Fill that box on the ballot with Rod Varney’s name, I already have, and now it is your turn to do your duty as an American to have him elected who many knows will represent us with dignity and respect, unlike Norma-Kirk McCormick, who has poorly lost twice against the outgoing representative Chris Harris because everyone knows that she WILL NOT back anyone nor will she hear our voices as she is in it all for herself.

I was among the first media to publish an article about Rod Varney runs for Ky’s House 93rd district seat, which you can find it here: https://www.joshiesworld.com/former-belfry-high-school-principal-runs-for-ky-house/

Additional: Yesterday, I had left comments on Norma-Kirk McCormick’s Facebook post; she said that she makes a pledge to her party, which that says one thing – again, not for us.

Judge For Kentucky Supreme Court 7th District

Two candidates are running for the Kentucky Supreme Court District 7th names Chris Harris and Robert Conley in this 2020 election in Kentucky’s commonwealth. Chris Harris, a lawyer all over in eastern Kentucky, served as Pike County Fiscal Court Magistrate in 2003; he was elected as a Ky’s representative 93rd in 2015 until 2020, which is the same seat that Rod Varney is running for. Now he is running for the highest court in Kentucky, which is the supreme court of Ky. Chris Harris also serves on the Kentucky Association of Counties’ board of directors. Robert Conley served the district court as a judge for the 20th Judicial District; he is now a circuit court judge for the 20th judicial circuit representing Greenup and Lewis counties in Kentucky. He began serving as a circuit court judge in 2007, he ran again in 2014 but won due to no opposition, and now he is running for the Kentucky Supreme Court District 7th against Chris Harris.

I am endorsing a candidate I have carefully watched for many years, who has many experiences regarding the law but with respect and dignity. Who has always listened to our voices, who have always fought for us when we ask him to, and who always have made sure that our voices are heard by speaking louder in a noisy room to make sure that they hear our voices? That person is none other than Chris Harris. Chris Harris has been a fierce fighter for the people’s rights in both counties, Pike and Martin, during his tenure as a representative in the 93rd district for both terms. When the educators and the people who work in public education in Kentucky screamed for the help, Chris Harris was one of among first leaders who walk from the office at the capitol to the floor with the educators to rally with them to carry their voices louder to make sure that the rest heard them. When the workers needed help to fight for unions, guess who walks from his office and rally with them? Of course, Chris Harris! There have been other rallies, including the rally by Deaf Grassroots Movement of Ky, which I am currently a representative of; he was on the floor to rally with them and other groups or movements. He is truly for the people; whenever people need their voices to be heard, Chris Harris always has been more than willing to be their megaphone.

I could go on and on about all of the things that Chris Harris is known for, but he has always been for the people who ask for help when advocating for something that people rely on their lives for. For that, along with many other reasons that I have mentioned, I know for sure that Chris Harris will serve as a judge in Ky’s highest court with dignity, not only with respect to Kentuckians but also with the law and honorably. It is something that Robert Conley never will, as there is a video that I will be sharing where he does not treat the people in the courtroom with fairness and respect as he was shown tantrum, which is by far something that does not belong to a courtroom anywhere. In fact, Robert Conley seems to take pleasure in treating the people who appear in court unfairly and disrespect while at the same time using the power as a judge as a weapon against others. We don’t need that in any courts and even more sacred court as Ky or any states’ supreme court. We need someone who will be a judge that treats the people fair, with respect for the people in court, for the law, and who will not strip their dignity. That is Chris Harris, so be sure to fill the box with his name on the ballot and having him elected as one of the Kentucky Supreme Court judges.

United States Senate For Ky

We know that Mitch McConnell has been the senator of Ky for the United States Senate since 1984, which means over 35 years now, so that is over three decades! Kentucky has been under Mitch McConnell for that long, a lot of people are complaining about the fact that there has nothing been done for the people of Kentucky, but the problem is that they blamed Democrats without realizing that it really has been Mitch McConnell who is a Republican all along as Kentucky have been under Mitch McConnell for more than three decades. If we don’t get anything done for the commonwealth of Kentucky, shift all of the blames on Mitch McConnell because he is responsible for bringing any funding from the United States into Kentucky for us to spend to improve Kentucky as a commonwealth whether it be education, jobs, healthcare, parks and many of others. We cannot go anywhere without the help of two senates of Ky for the United States, Mitch McConnell, and Rand Paul. Rand Paul is also a Republican. We have given Mitch McConnell many chances to prove to us that he does care about Kentucky, not the United States over Kentucky because we Kentuckians are the ones who elected him to represent for us in the United States Senate, and unfortunate, he has had so many chances given by us, so this is where we should say that it is enough that it is time for us to give a new opportunity for someone else to prove us that the new candidate can do better for us Kentuckians. Not only that, because where Mitch McConnell has been in the office as a senator in Ky for three decades gives us a clear image of what he has done and what he has not done that would benefit for any Kentuckians or for all of the people in the United States but for the best interest of his closest business people to boost their wealth instead of doing that for Kentuckians or the Americans.

There are many other reasons that I could go on, but that should be just enough reasons alone to choose someone else who should get the opportunity to show us that they can do better. With that being said, I am endorsing Amy McGrath to be the next Ky’s senator for the United States Senate. It is time to give someone a new fresh start because we know that we have been with Mitch McConnell for more than three decades. We haven’t seen anything significant enough for Mitch McConnell to continue as a Kentucky senator for the United States Senate. It is time; this is why we should go and vote Amy McGrath in as the next Kentucky senator for the United States Senate to finally start seeing the candidate’s results from D.C to Kentucky along with everywhere in the United States. Amy McGrath is truly the right path for Kentucky, which is something that Mitch McConnell is desperately using the words “Amy McGrath is the wrong path For Ky” when it is quite the opposite because I believe that Amy McGrath is the first step to the right path for Kentucky to be in so that we as a commonwealth can be better for once because we as a commonwealth of Kentucky hasn’t been for more than three decades which is exactly how long Mitch McConnell has been the Kentucky Senator for.

Go Vote!

We as Americans have a duty to do something significant for Kentucky’s commonwealth, for every other state, and our nation – the United States of America. We must use the most powerful thing assigned us as Americans: to vote for how we want our commonwealths, states, and our nation to be, whether it be for economic reason, healthcare reason, justice system reason, and many of others. Anything that designs them is by us the people; we are the people that design how we want our economy to be, how we want our healthcare to be, how we want our justice system to be, and many others by electing the people that we know that will do just that for us. I know that we have seen the ugly side of the United States past few years, that is why it is our duty and our voice as a voter that can turn that around by voting the right people to make our commonwealths, our states and our nation – the United States of America better!

Please vote! Be sure to vote before November 3, which is the last day for everyone in the United States of America to vote. Don’t let our votes go waste. If you are not sure which one to vote for, I beg you to do a research online and find out what their goals are for the next four years to get a better idea of which one you’d like to see to happen. Do not research biased news media such as Fox News or CNN for any information on both candidates. In my opinion, the best sites that are unbiased is PolitiFact.com and Ballotpedia.org.

NOTE: I might add more candidates for Ky’s election to endorse in this same article later after doing some more research and feeling out others to see if they are the right candidates that I feel worthy of my endorsements. These candidates are endorsed by me, Joshua “Joshie” Sullivan, and JoshiesWorld.

Joshua “Joshie” Sullivan.
