There is something that most of the people doesn’t know about Amazon especially their history when Amazon was launched, originally the Amazon was meant to be books online store where everyone can buy books online and or buy books digitally (e-books) online. Amazon was launched in July 1994 as an online bookstore for a few years then they made some of the decisions that they want to expand themselves more than just an online bookstore so they converted the Amazon company into a new company that sells everything such as DVD, CD, Furniture, video games, mp3 and video streaming, software, foods, apparel, electronics, toys, jewelry and several more instead of online bookstores on Amazon. Amazon was becoming the like of Wal-Mart, K-Mart, Target, and few of others but Amazon wants to turn the business in even larger than any popular stores such as Wal-Mart, Target, K-Mart and few of others so they have decided to turn the Amazon business that not only sell everything but to make their own products for everyone too and Amazon is not going to stop from going further, expanding themselves even larger than what Amazon is today which is very interesting because Amazon is becoming a business where there is no competitors that could go up against Amazon themselves and that is because there is no other Amazon at the moment and probably never will but I cannot say that because we never know if Amazon will ever have a competitor in the future but for now there is no competitor.
Amazon launched their own smartphone!
When I say that they are not going to stop expanding themselves any further in the business and I mean the sky is not limits for them, literally. While Amazon sells everything you can think of but these products belongs to the other companies so the company decided to create some of the products that they can proudly say they are owned by themselves. Most of the people including you and myself already know that they have created their own tablets called Kindle, Kindle 2, Kindle DX, Kindle Keyboard, Kindle 3, Kindle 4, Kindle Touch, Kindle 5, Kindle Paperwhite, the latest Kindle Fire and Kindle Fire HDX.
Just very few days ago Amazon decided enter the phones business and created their own smartphone which they did and they call their new smartphone the Amazon Fire that has 13mp camera and other interesting specs and the new Amazon Fire smartphone is to compete against Apple Iphone 5S/6 and Samsung Galaxy S4/S5. If you are interested in own the new Amazon’s smartphone, the Amazon Fire then you can buy it on July 25th through AT&T cell phone provider company for $199 with two years contract but if you want without a contract then it would be in the high price range as two leading smartphone companies such as Apple and (cough, excuse me) Samsung.

The new Amazon Fire smartphone has a screen that is larger than Apple Iphones but smaller than phones made by Samsung Electronics company. The specs in Amazon Fire smartphone such as processor and chips are on a par with more powerful Android smartphones, the Amazon Fire smartphone includes a feature where it uses four cameras to create 3D images that doesn’t need glasses, any materials or equipment. They said that what makes the Amazon new smartphone, the Amazon Fire amazing is their Firefly button and when you press the Firefly button you can use the Amazon Fire photo’s camera to recognize and buy physical products or you can use its microphone to listen and buy some songs; It has more than a hundred million items to recognize or listen to buy.

Did Amazon surprise anyone by creating their own smartphone? No, because as soon as Amazon created their own tablets for anyone to buy then it kind of give away that they are going to create their own smartphone in the future which they have already created their own smartphone and is releasing them in July on the smartphones market for anyone who interests in buying it and the Amazon new smartphone Amazon Fire will use their own apps, music, videos and others services directly Amazon online but keep that in mind that Amazon is not anywhere near the numbers records that Apple or Samsung has for their smartphones and tablets but it is understandable as Amazon has just started mobiles business a few years ago while Apple and Samsung has been in the business longer so I am sure in due time that Amazon will have a lot of apps and others to choose for their mobile devices.
My opinions!
Like I have already said that some of us did expected that one day that Amazon was going to create their own smartphone because when Amazon created the tablets, it sort of give away the ideas that they will be entering the phone business eventually and I was right because Amazon has created their own new smartphone called Amazon Fire and they will continue creating more smartphones of their own as well but my original thought was that if they were going to create the smartphone that it would be a cheap looking phone like some of the phones from Straight Talk but apparently my thought was wrong because the smartphone they created are interesting especially their cameras is what caught my attention the most. Their 13MP camera is huge and have the ability to capture 3D images which is very impressive and I believe that none of the leading mobile companies has yet have that ability although there is few of apps on their stores that allows you to create 3D images but not well as Amazon’s new smartphone are going to be since it will be done directly their cameras while the apps for Apple and Samsung smartphones is through third-party software.
It is going to be interesting to see how far they willing to go to compete against the leading mobile devices companies such as Apple and (cough-cough) Samsung but I do expect that it is going to be a bit difficult for Amazon because it is going up against these two companies as Amazon have already said that it is targeted at both but do I ever think that Amazon will be able to take over the both companies places as the #1 and #2 in mobile devices company? Very doubtful but I can see that it is going to be worth the money to buy their smartphone and if they compete against Mozilla new smartphone or Motorola and Blackberry then that would make more sense, although they done said that the target is on Apple and Samsung so in due time we will see once they are released on the market to take a test, but for me it is not going to replace my beloved Iphones because Apple has won me and still is winning me because it seems that they do care for everyone regardless their situations such as disabilities – Like Apple commercials shows sign languages and the deaf people? I am hard of hearing, maybe you can see why I am a huge fan of Apple now. Although if I owns any Android smartphones like Samsung Galaxy S5 or others then it would easily replace them with the new Amazon Fire smartphone and I possibly will buy Amazon Fire as a back-up/alternative phone so yes I would recommend but that is only the way I am looking at their specs and how they work in their videos (conferences) but if you truly want to know if I would recommend it then wait until they release their new smartphone Amazon Fire so I can test it out before giving a recommendation or not.
