The other day I reviewed one of Anker’s products that I was disappointed with: the Anker PowerExpand 8-in-2 USB-C PD Media Hub. I was not exactly in a hurry to get another hub since I have sent it back for a refund, but I was in a hurry for a memory card reader, so I have decided to get Anker 2-in-1 USB 3.0 SD Card Reader. I have gone through a few USB card readers stick to choose which one I’d like, and this one by Anker gets my attention the most while at the same time the price for one is very reasonable because it only cost $12.99! I do have another memory cards reader, which I also have reviewed which you can find it here, but I need a simple one that I could carry it around or that I could grab it then plug it in without having to plug the cord on the back of the cards reader to the computer then look through the slots to make sure that I am inserting the card in the right slot. I need something that would be quick and that I could use it in almost no time.
Anker 2-in-1 USB 3.0 SD Card Reader has all of the specs that I think are plenty, especially for just $12.99. It has a 3.0 USB, which allows me to transfer the files very quickly from a memory card. The transfer speed on this is 5Gbps, and more importantly, it has backward compatibility with 2.0 or 1.1 USB for older computers or the devices that accept USB connection. So this Anker 2-in-1 3.0 SD Card Reader would be ready to be used in any compatible as long as there is a USB port; if it does not have 3.0, then it would not be an issue since it has a backward compatible which is important in the case that I need them although most of my computers or laptops already have 3.0 USB ports it is still nice to have them just in case. Anker 2-in-1 USB 3.0 SD Card Reader can read two cards simultaneously, one for micro SD and SD. This Anker 2-in-1 USB 3.0 SD Card Reader pretty much read the universal memory cards, the micro SD and the SD because these two memory cards are considered the universal memory cards, especially for the latest camera technology cameras only accept the universal memory cards now. Although for older cameras they might not use universal memory cards such as CF or XD which was what was used for older bulky cameras back then.
I am happy with this Anker 2-in-1 USB 3.0 SD Card Reader because it does the job to read the SD memory cards. It can transfer at the speed of 5Gbps, which is enough to quickly transfer the files from a memory card to my desktop computer or anything that can read a USB while allowing files transfer. They do have another one like this but for USB-C that is used mostly for Macbook or MacBook Pro, and I also brought that along with the Anker 2-in-1 USB 3.0 SD Card Reader, which I possibly will review sometime soon (they are just the same but the only difference is the USB 3.0 and USB-C) but if you need to get the USB-C one now you can click here to get it. If you want an SD memory card reader that is so simple yet very useful and can transfer the files fast, then I highly recommend that you get this Anker 2-in-1 USB 3.0 SD Card Reader! Even if you already have the cards reader that I reviewed (Zedela USB 3.0 Memory Cards Reader) that can read all kinds of memory cards, you still should get this Anker 2-in-1 USB 3.0 SD Card Reader so that you don’t need to deal with making sure that you insert the memory card in the right slot then doing the hooking from the device itself to a computer because with this Anker 2-in-1 USB 3.0 SD Card Reader you can insert the SD memory card in then stick it in the USB!
I am giving this a rating of 3.8, and that translates very good! I only have one complaint, or more so, a wish that this Anker 2-in-1 USB 3.0 SD Card Reader has is 10Gbps transfer speed, but 5Gbps is already quick anyway.

If you don’t have USB 3.0, don’t worry because it has backward compatibility with USB 2.0 and USB 1.1. It has a fast transfer speed of 5Gbps; it can read both microSD and SD memory cards simultaneously! This memory card is useful and straightforward to use as all you would have to do to insert a memory card in the slot then stick it into the USB port! I highly recommend Anker 2-in-1 USB 3.0 SD Card Reader. I rate it a 3.8, which translates very good.
