Hey guys! How are all of you doing tonight? I hope that all of you are doing well, I see that we are already starting to feel the winter as it is reminding us that the winter is in the corner and that we better be prepared for it when they come. Why I said that we better be prepared for the winter? Because the mother nature made sure that they are unpredictable in the eyes of ours last year, when in around at that time in November last year that we are on this year a lot of us figured that it was just going to be what we predicted; Not a lot of snows, just a bit cold and a bit warm on some days but a very few days of blistering cold but we were wronged. The mother nature threw us something that we never thought to predict, a blizzard namely The Snowzilla last year where in eastern part of the United States had several feet of snows and the temperature were almost too unbearable. If you don’t know what I am talking about, referring to snowzilla then I suggest you to look up on a search engine like Google or Bing and look up the snowzilla in New York especially over in Brooklyn. You will see…

I am going to try my best to make this a short tidbits article but again I really don’t know if it will be a short or long, sometimes I would have about three to five topics that I want to talk about and next thing I know that after I finished writing what I wanted to talk about these three to five topics I ended up thinking of more topics that I would like to talk about on the fly so when it comes to me writing any tidbits it is really unpredictable whether if it’s going to be only a few or is it going to be a several topics. As right of now I have about three or four important topics that I need to talk about and hopefully that I don’t start thinking of more good topics that I would want to talk about which I have often when it comes to writing tidbits article. If I do ended up writing more than intended with three or four topics then I hope that you bear with me and who knows maybe these topics that I thought of on the fly could be valuable information for some of you to know about. I know that there is two things that I must talk about in this tidbits,…

National Association of the Deaf: It’s Time!

I know that I have written a couple or three about the organization, National Association of the Deaf (NAD) but I have not written anything about National Association of the Deaf for a few months and I believe that I must write another one as this is important that I talk about National Association of the Deaf a bit. Before I get into it, I want to share a bit information about the organization calls National Association of the Deaf or NAD for short with some of you guys and mix history with it a little. National Association of the Deaf is a civil rights and human rights organization just like some of other organizations such as National Rifle Association that represents for the people who owns guns for hunting or for protection. National Association of the Deaf represents for the Deaf community, people who are Deaf and Hard of Hearing. I am Deaf myself, I am one of over a million Deaf people here in the United States who happens to be oppressed and discriminated daily so National Association of the Deaf is there to make sure that the Deaf community have the same rights as everybody else. That sounds all good doesn’t it? That we have an organization who protect our rights as Deaf American and making sure…

I am sorry that I have been MIA (Missing In Action) in the blogosphere for about a week, I know that is not the usual and that isn’t the unusual either as if you have noticed lately before this week I have started to become more active as a blogger for the last few months but then in the beginning of this week immediately put me on break due to a few reasons but the main reason I immediately was dropped out of blogging radar is because of the family matter which I will share on that with you in a few minutes here. I wrote the article in the beginning of the week saying that I will be taking a break from blogging for a while which you can find that article by looking for the article before this article and I said that I would have no idea when I would be done with taking a break, that is until I feel comfortable enough to get back in doing what I am passionate in. So this is to say that I am back, at least for now but I am not sure about being more active that I have been the least few months because I am not exactly all the way ready to be back yet as…

Pike County, Ky is NOT Deaf Friendly

For the Deaf community, we are starting to see some of the places all over here in the United States who finally been educated and is aware of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing people to the point that they started renovating counties or cities themselves to make sure that they are accessible for everybody equally regardless their backgrounds. For several decades, by now almost everywhere in the United States is now accessible for the people who is wheelchair-bound and for the people who is senior citizens but never make the places to be accessible for the people who is Deaf or Hard of Hearing. Even though Deaf community have been around here for centuries, yet the officials in the counties or cities were aware of the people who is in wheelchair-bounds and senior citizens so they added a section in the Americans with Disabilities Act law that most of the buildings whether it be business, private, public or residential must build an accessible for the people who is in wheelchairs by building ramps along with making it easier for senior citizens to get access to the buildings without having to climb up the stairs. A few decades ago a lot of people looks at them as a disability, respects them and look at them almost equally although I am…

News Outlets Improperly Labeling The Deaf

There are hundreds or thousands of news outlets, including the big names of news companies, medium companies, and unknown companies, that everybody reads daily to gather information about what is happening in this country, whether in the United States or internationally. Some people don’t follow or keep up with current events or news about what is happening locally, nationally, and globally. But several people do keep up with the news, including myself, so we can be informed about what is happening in our country here in the United States or in other countries. There are a few services that allow some of us to personalize some news that we would like to get daily under our favorite sources, such as Google News, Yahoo News, Bing News, and some news apps like that news app in iOS 10 that allows you to personalize the way news you want them to come to you. My go-to for getting some information and news is Google News, which allows me only to get most of the news from the sources/news outlet that I prefer, and there is other news related that I personalized to get. For example, United States, Politics, World, Technology, Business, Social Media, Domain, Hosting, Deaf, Kentucky, and West Virginia are my related news picks. Not in a particular order; nonetheless, I…

Hey guys! How are you all doing, I hope that everything is going well over there and as for me I am doing well over here amid a bothersome health issue but I am going to try to not let that stop me from writing another tidbits. But how about that game between Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears two nights ago on Thursday night?! Of course some of you already know that I am a huge fan of Green Bay Packers, I have been a fan of Green Bay Packers at the age four in the year of 1991 which is somewhat irony because as some of you know that Brett Favre’s number was four when he was playing for Green Bay Packers after being traded to Green Bay Packers from Atlanta Falcons in the year of 1992 which is a year after I became a fan of the Green Bay Packers. I very much remember watching Don Majkowski who were Green Bay Packer’s starter quarterback at that time that I became a fan of the team Green Bay Packers, Don Majkowski had played as Packer’s starter quarterback from the years of 1989 to the year of 1992 when he was injured in the game against Cincinnati Bengals and he was replaced by the backup quarterback namely Brett Favre…

Interested in becoming a blogger? Let me know!

Unfortunately I am out of the topics or stuff to blog about here, so this is just boring and a general post for some of you. I wasn’t planning on to blog tonight but I had something on my mind tonight that I want to put it out here. This is for some of you who are Deaf and Hard of Hearing people. I am looking for somebody who have interest in becoming a blogger, that would like to share their opinions or whatever niches that they are comfortable with the most to share and to write about. If you are interested in becoming a blogger or thinking about becoming a blogger, please contact me either on here by going to the contact tab at the top of the website or contact me through social media which you can find my social information on the right side of the website under the social media links. The reason I am asking is because I want to help Deaf and Hard of Hearing bloggers with my knowledge and my skills as well especially with search engines optimization which they are what helps the articles to be found easier on search engines like Google, Bing or Yahoo! I somewhat have an idea that I would like to share with some of you who…
