You would think that the law enforcement are hard on the colored people, abuse their power against them and did several police brutality on them but what many people does not realize is that they are not the only one. Law Enforcement gives Deaf and Hard of Hearing people a very hard time as there are several stories about their experiences when they had confrontation with the police. One of several experiences, there were a Deaf woman who called police for immediate help because she was being beaten by her boyfriend or husband so once the police arrived at their residence and the Deaf woman were approached by the police where she would be supposedly to explain the situation about her husband or her boyfriend beat her to the plum but instead the police never took the time to hear her explanation so they tasered her then body slams her to the ground with their knees on the back of her body and cuffed her then books her to the jail while the husband or boyfriend who can hear were scoot-free. So imagine the horror as if you were in her shoes, the police never even questioned that man or even to let the woman to tell them what was going on or the reason for their call to the…

I am sure that you are shocked with the title of this article, saying that we want to be Deaf and that we don’t want to be fixed. What a lot of the people doesn’t understand that being Deaf or even Hard of Hearing is a culture but several people who is audism try their darndest best to hide that and force a society to see anyone who happens to be Deaf or Hard of Hearing is a bad thing. Several people think that whoever became Deaf or Hard of Hearing whether it be at birth or afterbirth means that there is something severely wrong with them, it is because like people who is audism or an anti-cultural organizations such as Alexander Graham Bell Association for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing made the society to view us like that over a few decades ago or more like since in the year of 1880 when International Congress on the Education of the Deaf aka ICED banned any students who is Deaf or Hard of Hearing from the use of sign language to communicate. Thankfully National Association of the Deaf aka NAD was founded to protest against it and fought so hard to get the law or policy in education to allow any students or anyone who happens to be Deaf…
I would like to personally congratulate all the athletes from United States of America for not only winning the most medals but also winning the most gold, silver and bronze medals in Olympic RIO 2016! United States team have won exactly 121 total medals with mix of 46 gold, 37 silver and 38 bronze medals which is an unbelievably feats for the United States team bringing to their home in the United States. Of course I am not the only one, but I am sure that most of Americans in United States are very happy about their awesome feat too as they brings home more than just the most gold medals but also most medals with the mix of gold, silver and bronze. Of course the sport in the United States is undoubtedly the best out of any other countries, however there are a country that is better at a certain sport than the United States which I am sure that most of us know that it is the United Kingdom in soccer or they call it football over there but over here in the United States we calls it soccer and that somewhat make a sense because the ball touches the foot so football so I see why United Kingdom came up with that name for the sport. But…
As lately I have had some hard time to come up with something to blog about, as the presidential candidates is taking over the social media to the point where there are barely any other news that I could share my opinions or my views on. Not only that I have struggled to come up with some topics or something to think about to share my opinions on something with all of you, so here I am asking for help from you guys here by giving me some ideas on what I should blog about or what you would like for me to share my opinions on. I would greatly appreciate any help that I can get from you, all you would have to do is click here to go to a page calls submit where you can make some suggestions for some topics or what you would like for me to share my thoughts on here. For several months I have written down a long list of what I would like to blog about, some topics that I would add to my tidbits article or to share my thoughts about some of these and other stuff but that list I have written is about completed which that means I practically run out of what I want to blog about…
There are a few of topics that I would like to discuss about with you today, as some of you know that I write tidbits article here now and then so you should know that sometimes that a tidbits article can get long because where the definition for tidbit means that it is a bit of anything. So it will be more than just one topic instead of one topic, I think that sometimes it is better writing about a few of topics instead of just one topic because it can get a bit boring and not only that I am somewhat talkative so obviously it’s fitting for me as I don’t like writing or talking about just one topic or one of something. If you ever think of a word for something that you would like to discuss or share your opinions about few or several topics than just one topic then now you know that there is a word and that is tidbits. Tidbit is in the dictionary so you can easily find the definition for the word “Tidbit” on some search engines like Google, Bing or Yahoo and tidbits are more interesting to read than just reading one topic because some of the people likes to read about a few of topics than just one thing so…
I would like to take my time to wish someone a very happy birthday, that person has been in my life for more than a decade and since then he have become a father figure of mine. I look at him as a father figure, not only just that but also a friend and he have become a part of the family since both my mother and himself became together. He does more than my biology father will ever do for me, being there for me which that is something that my biology father miserably failed to do so and done things for me when I need him to. Irony thing is that he has a son named Josh, which is same name as mine but nonetheless I am glad that he has become a part of the family since I met him through my mother over a decade ago or close to two decades which that makes me feel old and I am sure this probably will make him feel even older as he have turned 47 years old at midnight (no, mother. Not 46, it’s 47!). I am grateful for him being there for my mother and I more than anybody has done for us both. Although we need to make some trips to Charleston or Huntington malls…
Hey guys! How are things going with you all over there? I am doing well over here and thank you guys for asking! I hope that all of you had a great day and I am sure that some of you are probably partying out tonight or getting ready to party out tonight as it is Saturday which is the day that people often go out clubbing or to the bars with some friends or with their spouses. I am no longer a partying type myself, well of course I still do party but I never have partied at the clubs or bars as I have only partied at some birthday parties including few years of my own, some dances every and now at middle school or high school when I was still in school which that makes me miss school a bit. Some of the people are saying that we are entering the era where it becomes very hard to find a girlfriend or boyfriend, I believe that’s true as I realized lately that not many of the people being able to find a boyfriend or a girlfriend including myself but relationship searching services such as Tinder or Match begs differ about entering the era where people can barely find anyone to be with. Of course we probably will…
Seriously most of you guys got it made easy, most of you have privileges whether it be from your generations, your backgrounds and the record that you have done all of your lives. Now as for Deaf or Hard of Hearing people and you both have same privileges that you use at your advantage of getting something such as a job, Deaf or Hard of Hearing will have to double the efforts trying to be hired by somebody or at somewhere while the hearing person doesn’t; It’s almost guaranteed that the hearing person would be hired in a heartbeat while the Deaf or Hard of Hearing people wouldn’t even get a chance for an interview. That’s how the society is, if the hearing person has one associate degree while the Deaf or Hard of Hearing have two PhD, three masters, two bachelor degrees, the company or someone would immediately hire the one with an associate degree over the person who is Deaf or Hard of Hearing that has several degrees including PhD, Bachelor and masters they still would prefer to hire that one hearing person who have associate degree while not bothering to give the person who is Deaf or Hard of Hearing with very higher education along with rich knowledge or skills in a position that they were looking…
