Ubisoft is one of many video games maker, Assassin’s Creed is one of them, and Ubisoft hasn’t created a new Assassin’s Creed video game for about over two years, so for that long, many of us who are fans of Assassin’s Creed have been waiting impatiently for a new Assassin’s Creed video game released by Ubisoft. We at first worried that Ubisoft might have given up on creating the Assassin’s Creed franchise line of games; we had heard some rumors, and not only that we also had heard before that they were considering to call it to quit after making Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey or Assassin’s Creed: Origins but thankfully they did not. After two years of waiting, Ubisoft finally delivered surprise news for us fans about releasing a new Assassin’s Creed video game after two years. The new Assassin’s Creed video game is called Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla. In that surprising news about Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla, they also gave us the release date for Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla and that was November 10, 2020, which was a few days ago.
After they announced Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla, that it would be released on November 10, 2020, Ubisoft started selling the video game by pre-order so that on the released day on November 10, 2020, we would get the video game. Of course, I immediately pre-ordered Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla after discovering that they were finally releasing another Assassin’s Creed video game. They had a few editions that we could pre-order for our preferred gaming consoles. For me, I pre-ordered Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla ultimate edition PC edition because I obviously prefer to play video games on PC rather than other gaming consoles, and I have not brought new gaming consoles for a long while since I own Xbox One S and PlayStation 4. I prefer to play video games on PC now whenever I have the time to play some video games, and since we are in the middle of a virus pandemic, I figured why not! The Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla Ultimate Edition for PC that I had pre-ordered were PC download (digital), which is my preference as well.
On the release day for Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla, just to my luck, my computer crashed after I attempted to do a full restore because of a corrupted file on my solid drive, so I had to send it in for a repair and for that, I couldn’t play the game until my computer comes back from the repair shop. My computer has a 12.5TB SSD+HDD combo with 7700K Intel and NVIDIA 1080 GeForce Founder Edition using a 4K Asus ROG monitor. Hence, it plays any video games more beautiful and better than these gaming consoles. Nonetheless, in less than a week, my computer was repaired and shipped back to me, which was quick, so I am happy about that, but a day after hooking up my computer back up I play Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla.
My response a few minutes after playing Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla was wow! If you don’t know what Valhalla is, it is a fantasy of a majestic hall in Asgard ruled by Viking Odin. I became interested in Vikings after watching a few television shows about Vikings, such as the Vikings by History channel, The Last Kingdom by BBC then Netflix, Black Sails by Starz, Barbarians by Netflix, and the Game of Thrones by HBO. Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla is another Assassin’s Creed game but with different stories of the Vikings. People with cool braided hairs with many tattoos on their side of heads, on their face, on their arms, and on their body that fight enemies with axes or swords using wooded or metal shields while wearing furs covered clothes or coats.
I have played many Assassin’s Creed video games; I can remember playing as Ezio, who wore a white coat with a hood, wearing a forearm weapon that pushes a knife out when in attack and fighting for the brotherhood of Assassins. What a game. Anyway, I honestly think that Ubisoft outdid themselves with this Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla since Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag. Every Assassin’s Creed video game that Ubisoft makes gets better except Assassin’s Creed: Revelations because let does not kid ourselves the Assassin’s Creed: Revelations wasn’t that good. After the release of their previous Assassin’s Creed video game calls Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey, I viewed it as their best yet Assassin’s Creed video game, which is about fighting as a Roman, but since a couple of hours into Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla my view about Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey is Ubisoft’s best Assassin’s Creed video game changed. Because I have already played about a couple of hours into Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla, I am in awe, and I did not need to finish the game to consider it the best game because even I am only about a couple of hours into the video game I already view it as Ubisoft’s best Assassin’s Creed video game – Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla! I did quickly like Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey after playing a few hours into it but not as quick as I do for Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla, and I still have plenty of hours to go before completion, and I already think that it is now the best Assassin’s Creed video game, so that says a lot about how good Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla is!
In Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla, it comes with several missions along with several side missions just as they did in many of their other Assassin’s Creed video games, but this time in Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla, you get to get more deep in it, you get to portray however you would like as they give you the options to do that such as picking which line to speak and it also has fun side gameplays such as a game or drinking challenge. I am aware that they had something like that, I recall in Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag where you get to play some game (cards game) in the video game itself, but in this Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla, it is just different. Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla does represent the Vikings because there is cursing, nudity, and whatnot, which is well-known in the Vikings era. In Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla, from the beginning, you are to travel to different places to retake some villages and some areas to expand the power of their king. You get to sail the boats, stop by other villages to raid for some rewards, which is one of the side missions or just for fun to increase your wealth to have more resources to upgrade your weapons or other things. I think the best way to describe how Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla looks like and plays like is if you combine two Assassin’s Creed video games such as Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey and Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag but in the Vikings era. Speaking of getting the resources, yes, you can still do some hunting for leather, irons, and whatnot, just like you did in Odyssey or Origins to upgrade your weapons. Oh, I forgot to mention that in Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla, you can go fishing besides hunting for resources! This time, they have more options to make your weapons and your armors or clothing better by what they call runes. The more upgrades you make for yourself, the stronger, healthier, and whatnot you become, but they boost them with these runes. Their skills in Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla is a bit different but the same, this time; in Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla, you would have to upgrade a different kind of things that you need for your character to unlock specific skills, unlike some others because others you can unlock the skills straightforward when you have gained some powers, but in Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla it is a bit different than that. In Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla, you are playing in-depth the Vikings era, and it is brutal!
I highly recommend Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla, many gamers are already raving about them, and I can see why now, even though I was late into it thanks to my computer crash. I recommend the Ultimate Edition because if you go for the Ultimate Edition, you get a pack that gives you a unique weapon, horse, raven, and whatnot calls berserker.
I am rating Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla 4 which that translates great.

Bottom Line
Ubisoft released a new Assassin’s Creed video game calls Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla, which is Vikings themed Assassin’s Creed video game. Assassin’s Creed by Ubisoft keeps getting better except Assassin’s Creed: Revelations; Ubisoft outdid themselves with this one Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla because it comes with longer content, more features, and more customization in general. You get to play in the Vikings era, fighting the enemy with axes slapped on with runes, wearing fur-covered clothes, tattooed up, and more brutal than some of other Assassin’s Creed video games. This Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla is a video game with the depth of Vikings era, walking in their journey and many of their stories with many missions or side missions and some fun on the side such as hunting or playing a game within’ the video game.
I am rating Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla a 4, which translates great!
