Some of you may know or may not know who Chris Haulmark is, before I go into it, I would like to share the introduction of who he is because this is important. Chris Haulmark was running for the district third (3rd) Congress in Kansas in the last election (2018 election) as a Democrat and then his advisors along with his citizens suggested that he run as a representative first so that he can get a taste of how the state government works so that way he can be better prepared to become a senator in the next election or two if his citizens think he did a good job as the house of representative in the state of Kansas. He took that advice, changed from third (3rd) district congressional to fifteen (15th) district representative for the state of Kansas and down the road in the election he won the Democratic nomination. Since then, he did a lot of doors knocking and making a vlog in American Sign Language (ASL) a day for 365 days campaigning on Chris Haulmark’s official campaign Facebook page. I even wrote a piece about him in one of my articles in the year 2017 when he was running for the Congress before making the decision to switch the position from Congress to a representative in 2018 but in the end year of 2017 was when he announced his run for the Congress (you can find it here). What was so special about him? Maybe not so much to many of people but in the Deaf community or minority community it was very special because he is Deaf and because of that he put a mark on the history as the first Deaf person to run for Congress AND representative in Kansas especially who is Deaf-centric meaning he is fluent in American Sign Language (ASL) and knows Deaf culture.
Since his announcement to become a representative for the district fifteen (15th), he was predicted to win, and he was winning. Even outside of the state Kansas, he was getting a lot of support thanks to the Deaf community as the Deaf community were the major donors of his campaign and as well supporters of his campaign along with some of his citizens in his district which is Olathe, Kansas. While he had the Deaf community backing him, they still wouldn’t be the one to get his foot in the house of representatives though because it would be his citizens who can, and they almost did.
On Well His Way There, Then He Wasn’t
He is part of the Deaf community, that Deaf community was supporting Chris Haulmark with the support of donors and as well many volunteered to make the calls to convince or to share the reason why his citizens in Olathe, Kansas should vote him to become their representative. They were listening, he was well on his way there and then he wasn’t. As I said, they were listening, and they really were listening because they were somewhat relying on the Deaf community to tell them if Chris Haulmark would be fit or good to be their representative. There were a few of people in that Deaf community suddenly turned their back on Chris Haulmark, went to their state or local newspaper called Kansas City News aka KC News and made up a story to accuse Chris Haulmark of abuses of a Deaf woman named Jennifer then Jennifer had a few other females to make a vlogs to accuse Chris Haulmark of the abuses too. As I said, the citizens of his district in Kansas were listening to us so that means the Deaf community can take him there and can be the one to stop him which unfortunately they did start with Jennifer. Still, the majority of the Deaf community still supports him but some of these turn their backs on Chris Haulmark and Chris Haulmark suddenly lost in the election by only 200 something votes. Ever since he lost the election, he decided to write his own free book but in American Sign Language (ASL) versions for the Deaf community which can be found on his political page on Facebook and he has concrete evidence pointing that he is indeed a victim because most of the accusations that some of these women orchestrated by none other than Jennifer just because Chris Haulmark did not want to have a relationship with her which was proved in many of Chris Haulmark’s vlogs. Chris Haulmark rejected her in nicest as possible, of the relationship when he was a roommate with her, but she persisted and trying to pressure him into a relationship when Chris Haulmark was campaigning for the fifteen (15th) district representative in Kansas. Even after he has told Jennifer that he does not want to be in a relationship with her because it was too rush for him, along that she wants something that he does not want and that was simple but Jennifer makes it a big deal enough to get her revenge on Chris Haulmark by having him losing the election as she accused him by vlogs. Not just that, even started supporting Chris Haulmark’s Republican opponent by sharing the accusations and sharing the information that would help Chris Haulmark to lose. A perfect example was that out of blue you see his Republican opponent starts showing his support for the Olathe Deaf school and the Deaf citizens on social media so that should tell you something because his opponent does not. At least not until after that so-called scandal, the Republican opponent made a post saying that he supports the Deaf community for the first time after that happens but never said anything about the Deaf community before that scandal and that says one thing is that it was one of their strategy to steal Chris Haulmark’s voters. After losing to him, since the Republican opponent won that election and he hasn’t done or said a thing about the Deaf community so that’s something to think about.
No, That Was Not It
That was just to help you to get at least a small picture of what was going on and who Chris Haulmark is. Now the real story here is that, remember that Jennifer had gotten her revenge on Chris Haulmark? Chris Haulmark made the latest vlog on his political page and as well on his YouTube channel where he talks about Jennifer along with her family opening Chris Haulmark’s mails – one of them was his social security Disability Insurance mail. When Chris Haulmark saw that Jennifer and her family have his SSDI mail, so Chris Haulmark decided to go up there to pick it up. When Chris Haulmark did, along with his friend Mitch (interpreter) which was videotaped the ordeal and to their surprise that these mails of his had insulting/offensive writings on them. What is even worse, these mails were opened which is a violation. Even that if they said they never opened that, Jennifer just made it even worse by revealing his social security disability insurance (SSDI) mail in a vlog as she made a copy of it and show his personal information in one of her vlogs on social media. Jennifer is a teacher at Kansas School for the Deaf and is a board member (officer) for Kansas Association of the Deaf, that is even crazy because she is a teacher of that Deaf community, an officer of that Deaf community’s organization and does that? I don’t know about you, but I am dumbfounded by that.
Yes, that is the whole purpose of this article is that a person who is a teacher of that Deaf community and is an officer of that Deaf organization doing something like that such as exposing someone’s social security information on social media. That someone isn’t just a someone, it was also a candidate for 15th district representative at that time which marks a history for the Deaf community including some of these who is students of hers because Chris Haulmark made the history by becoming the first Deaf candidate to run in the election for a position in government. Exposing his social security information in an attempt to throw an obstacle in the way for Chris Haulmark, while knowing that he was winning the poll and these kids were so excited by it. I wonder what the school, organization and the club in Olathe for the Deaf community feels or thinks about that?
This article is backed by several, the accusations vlogs of Jennifer and Chris Haulmark’s ASL books vlogs. His latest chapter called “Crying Wolf” will say it all which I will be sharing in this article as well. Someone has contacted the Kansas School for the Deaf but has given no comment. Says: It has also been brought to the attention that the alleged victim is a teacher at the Kansas State School for the Deaf. In further investigating the breach, the school’s Human Resource department was contacted. When reached for comment, the school gave us their policy (which was a standard school social media policy) and procedures however there were no further comments towards the situation itself.
