Overall
Thought?:
Personally I think that Fear the Walking Dead is actually now a lot better than The Walking Dead which may be something hard for you to believe. The keyword is “now”, The Walking Dead was one of the great television shows which I would never deny that but you have to admit that ever since Rick Grimes has left The Walking Dead the television show somewhat no longer exciting as it once was and this is why I said “now” because Fear the Walking keeps on getting better every season. For a long time, I always looked Fear the Walking in second with The Walking Dead being the first but now that is no longer the case at least in my opinion and Fear the Walking Dead is just started to getting better. The Walking Dead was getting better season by season until Rick Grimes left, while Fear the Walking Dead gets better season by season and it continues doing so while The Walking Dead seasons after Rick Grimes gone is becoming less better so that says one thing – Fear the Walking Dead tops it in my opinion! Especially that Fear the Walking Dead keeps getting better as it was getting better season by season along with The Walking Dead getting better season by season but the thing that since Rick Grimes left The Fear Walking Dead just immediately took their place as being the “better” show when they released a new season on the same season that The Walking Dead started without Rick Grimes for the first time.
I realize that the characters that The Walking Dead had who decided to disappear shows up in Fear the Walking Dead, I am talking about Morgan who Rick Grimes met at the very beginning of the season in The Walking Dead show and now we just had another character from The Walking Dead to come on in Fear the Walking which is Dwight! Yes, that Dwight who was Negan’s right-hand man who was struggling to continue supporting Negan because of what he did to his wife and ever since the Rick Grimes team took down the Negan’s group Dwight somewhat became a frenemy with Rick Grime’s right-hand man Daryl (who is now a main leading character of The Walking Dead).
Then Dwight disappeared, presumed looking for his wife because he was seen looking for the clues that his wife had left behind in hope that Dwight would eventually catch up and able to find her popped up in Fear the Walking Dead who is now being a good guy at least in John’s eyes who also had a similar situation so Dwight is basically being John’s right-hand or John is mentoring Dwight in some way hoping that he can help Dwight to find his wife just as John did when he found his girlfriend June.
Only I think that The Walking Dead has one upper in this is that they have a Deaf character and in Fear the Walking Dead doesn’t. Who knows, maybe Connie will hops off The Walking Dead to Fear the Walking to be on Alicia’s team with Morgan being the right-hand man considering that Alicia was one of the characters along with a few of others (Victor, Luciana, Daniel, etc) that remains in Fear the Walking Dead since the beginning but Morgan shows up a few seasons later.
The stories in Fear the Walking Dead since the beginning gets more exciting every new episode in every new season just like The Walking Dead was and then after season 9, it starts getting bored although The Walking Dead seems to start to get a bit exciting again but not as exciting as Fear the Walking Dead is now though. The big difference in Fear the Walking Dead and The Walking Dead is how they get to the places. For example, Fear the Walking had hot balloons, airplanes, yacht boats, big rigs, helicopters and more so it gets exciting when we watch Fear the Walking Dead struggling to fly the airplane to a different place. While in The Walking Dead, we mostly see horses, cars, walking, motorcycles which is mostly seen when Daryl rides and homemade trailers (chopping halves of a car using the backseat while being pulled by horses). So, I think Fear the Walking Dead is more of modernized, move to more places, have more means to do what they need and whatnot than The Walking Dead.
I highly recommend that you watch Fear the Walking Dead if you are a huge fan of The Walking Dead! I am rating Fear the Walking Dead a 4, which is extremely close to what I rated The Walking Dead which is 3.8 so that is a .2 difference and Fear the Walking Dead is a .2 better even though people viewed it as a second television show to The Walking Dead which in that case they were right until now because Fear the Walking Dead keeps on getting better while The Walking Dead is struggling to recover the loss of Rick Grimes. If you have watched The Walking Dead but you have not watched Fear the Walking Dead then you are definitely missing out! What is more, Fear the Walking Dead belongs to the same network that The Walking Dead is with and that is AMC so that says something. I think they intended Fear the Walking Dead as a second to The Walking Dead but in my opinion that Fear the Walking Dead has done took its place and became the first ever since Rick Grimes left The Walking Dead but you can tell that The Walking Dead is trying to recover from that so hopefully they will to brilliantly come back because the loss of Rick Grimes who was THE face of The Walking Dead sucked!
Again, again and again. Go and watch Fear the Walking! I have restrained myself so much from sharing too much information in case if you haven’t watched Fear the Walking Dead but if I have somewhat done so I apologize! I have added different ways that you can watch Fear the Walking Dead below! Nonetheless, both The Walking Dead and Fear the Walking Dead are two great television shows.
