Gov’t Targeting news & bloggers.

I am a bit of late on this news about politics but again I don’t usually write a lot about politics because I am not into politics, only I am into if something that’s important for everyone to know or something important that I knew it could affect anyone’s life or business.

In this case, a bit of business. I was reading an article on Google news for my morning news as usual to see if anything good going on or if something that I should know and I am technology news fan so at the most of the times I only read news about technology and very rarely politics news. The other day, two days ago I decided to read the politics news out of boredom and something had gotten my attention. The news from Google titled “Google claims 84% of online news are hacked by governments”, something like that title would catch my attention and of course it has caught my attention obviously, considering that I am a blogger and a bit of journal and have some friends who own known blogger websites. Government has targeted major online news such as CNN, MSNBC (I think that’s what it called?), Fox and few others and they said that they are also targeting bloggers and will go after smaller bloggers as well regardless region. Last year I believe that CNN news were hacked by Syrian Electronic Army.

Here’s the article that I am referring to and read about and from, so you can read everything more about it: Google claims 84 percent of online news sites are hacked by governments by theinquirer.net.

Reading that article does make me think. I honestly don’t see the reason the governments have the needs to target online news and blogging websites for, because what is on sites is what they will see if they hacked into news and blogging websites. But it is a bit unfair in my opinion, nowadays we almost have no privacy and the governments are violating their own law by invading our privacy sadly. We do need to be more careful with what we do and what we put into our devices, and we need to start locking them with encryption and use different passwords of each things with strong password/key, the safest password would be just random typing such as Tgtggt3rf#$Evaer$24^GVAvre and then write them down on piece of papers so that way we can record passwords to use to open our stuff or to log in certain websites such as social media websites.

Nonetheless I do hope that this nonsense stop, probably won’t but only I can do is hope right? Sure I can understand a bit of the reason to do that is to find out if we have any terrorist in the country but still, I would suggest to only do it to anyone who is suspicious.

I am done writing for now and I would like for you to write in comment below this article and let me know what you think about this and about the news going around that the governments are trying to get into our stuff such as our social media and as well our computers/laptops? Thank you very much for reading and I hope that you have a great day! Be safe.
