Logitech BRIO Webcam

I have used a good number of webcams from Logitech and many webcams from other brands. I also own the C920 when it came out by Logitech a few years ago. Last year, Logitech came out with a premium and top of the line never like before webcam named BRIO. Logitech BRIO can record video and also can stream via live or video chat on any platform that has the capability in 4K quality! Most webcams haven’t gone that far yet, most webcams are available and best known for their 1080 HD or an “improved” 720p quality for video then Logitech took it even a step further of coming in with a 4K quality and is capable to stream 4K which is a big deal. For that reason alone, I went and brought Logitech BRIO about a year ago, which was about the time that Logitech came out with the BRIO webcam.

I was a little skeptical because even some webcams that are capable of doing 1080 HD struggle and I look at the fact that BRIO is capable of 4K quality so that had me thinking how can they possible stream in 4K quality with no problem or even a little problem which is usually expected depending on what software you use to capture the video or to stream on. After getting the Logitech BRIO webcam, right off the bat, I could see that this webcam is more advanced than most of the other webcams because it has features that not many webcams that have them. That is face detection for Windows Hello! Login, almost like Face ID that can scan your face to detect that it is you before allowing you to log in your windows computer, it also has a sensor that would look around you to give you the best lighting and give you the highest quality that it can offer in your environment. With that sensor, another feature that works along with that sensor is a feature they call it RightLight 3 which would send some lighting on you and around you to make sure that this webcam can capture you in the highest quality in your environment which works great especially for a very dark room.

This Logitech BRIO can stream or capture your video with exceptional quality, especially in 4K, and it also is capable of doing so in plenty of frames, which means the more frame equal, the faster processing in video quality. Less blur and fewer pixels showing. The lower frames would cause you to have more blur and more lagging in your webcam while you stream or record a video. BRIO can indeed expose you, and it shows you as if you look at a very high-quality picture that was taken with a DSLR camera. You have some options that you can use that are more important to you, such as exposure, which shows yourself more and the frame rate, which means it uses the highest frame rate setting to make sure that there is no lag in your camera. Nowadays, a lot of us are using webcam thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic that causes us to be sheltered like we have never been before to keep ourselves safe and stream or video chat with other people such as family members, friends, students, colleagues or whatnot. If you would like for the people to be able to see you as clear as a webcam can go, that is smoother, that can do so in 4K quality, and also with the option of widening or narrowing your video frame with the use of zoom tool then this Logitech BRIO webcam is for you.

I believe that this webcam is best for everyone for any reason. Whether it be business to have a video conference with others or a teacher who teach students online to keep everyone safe from being exposed to COVID-19, a gamer who like to stream a pip video of himself/herself in a video while streaming the game and or the one who wants to have a crispy clear video conference or video chat with others which this would impress everyone to see you clear, yes, this webcam do stream and record video in 4K almost flawlessly, but it does not only do that as it can also capture a photo in HDR! It also has a built-in microphone, which can hear you pretty well. It also has several mounting options, and you can have it sit on a flat table, you can clip it to your laptop or monitor which is adjustable and more that I can’t think right off the top of my head. If you are looking for the highest quality with packed features and insanely advanced webcam, then Logitech BRIO webcam 4K is for you to use; however, you need to use the webcam for. Don’t have a windows computer? No problem because they do, Mac too! The only downside to Logitech BRIO is that it is expensive because it would take you aback at $199.99. Still, even with that cost, it does worth every dollar because no webcam can be as good as Logitech BRIO does and not as advanced as Logitech BRIO is.

I highly recommend Logitech BRIO webcam 4K, I have owned it for about a year now and have not looked back since then. As a journalist and reviewer, I have kept up with many other webcams; they still couldn’t come close to beat Logitech’s BRIO webcam, which that says that Logitech has advanced this webcam ahead a few years before anyone else would finally catch up. If you don’t like clipping the webcam on your laptop screen or your computer’s monitor, I recommend Manfrotto PIXI Mini Tripod to mount the webcam on and put it on the table or anywhere which is what I use. As a Deaf person myself, it is important that I have a webcam where people can see me communicating in American Sign Language very clear, and that is why frame rates are important because it makes sure that it doesn’t lag or otherwise my words in signs would have been missed, or my signing is too quick for a webcam to capture.

I am rating this Logitech BRIO 4K Pro Webcam a 4.3, which is translated more than great! This Logitech BRIO webcam is truly an advanced and top-of-the-line webcam. If you purchase this, be sure to use Logitech Capture software, which is Logitech’s own that can maximize your Logitech BRIO webcam.
