Merry Christmas ’15!

I would like to wish every one of you readers a very Merry Christmas and I hope that every one of you have a great one. Christmas is probably the most important holiday here in the United States and international depending on some countries as there are some countries that banned Christmas especially not allowing anyone in some countries to decorate Christmas stuff such as tree, lighting and others that represent Christmas which is saddening. Even though I have never went to these countries that have banned Christmas, I cannot ever understand why the prime minster or president of the countries enforced the law where that no citizens in these countries to celebrate Christmas even and what hits me the most is that no children in these countries to be able to celebrate Christmas because children celebrates the Christmas more than the adults which brings the joy to the adults to see that the children celebrates for Christmas while unwrapping the presents they have received from Santa Clause (I know Santa Clause isn’t real!).

How can some countries bans anyone to celebrate Christmas? Is it because these prime ministers or presidents were treated poorly by their parents or not getting anything that they wished for Christmas from Santa Clause which is obviously their parents? The countries that we have acknowledge so far from several recent news that have banned Christmas is Somalia and Brunei.

In these two countries, Somalia and Brunei banned Christmas along with its citizens to celebrate Christmas. By their law says that the people in these counties cannot celebrate Christmas at all, they cannot decorate for Christmas either even if it’s private (that is if being caught) such as tree or lighting system and if they are to be caught showing any interests in Christmas they would be punished which is a bit harsh in my opinion. I got a heavy heart for all of children that resides in these countries, not being able to celebrate Christmas as I said above that being surrounded with children brings nothing but joy then having these countries banned Christmas and now the parents having to tell the children that they are not allowed to celebrate Christmas because the prime ministers or presidents in these countries said so. After hearing that the prime ministers or presidents, whichever it is that they are called in these countries banned Christmas made me feel somewhat helpless for not being able to do something about it since I am activist but I am not from there or lives from there thankfully.

Nonetheless, did any of you have a great Christmas? I sure did although I wish that we got some snows here because we haven’t had white Christmas for almost a decade if I remember correctly since I last recall we had a white Christmas in late 1990s when we had blizzard or heavy snow storms everywhere here in the United States. It seems that year by year in around time of Christmas it’s getting warmer and at this rate it seems that the winters are becoming summer now which is a bit strange because it doesn’t make sense. Most of the times we will have snow here is around in between January and February which I am looking forward to because I like the feelings of being stuck at home due to snow as long as they don’t do any damages such as electricity.

Anyway I wanted to wish all of you a Merry Christmas even though it’s a day late but I was busy yesterday obviously and so was everybody since it is Christmas. I had planned on to write a very short blog post to wish every one of you a Merry Christmas but here I started blabbing on especially about the countries that bans Christmas. I will be trying to write another article tomorrow or Sunday if I can see something interesting that I want to share my opinions about or reviews some of the presents that I gotten for Christmas or something and if you have some idea for me to write about something please do send in your ideas on what I should write about by going to this submit page. I greatly appreciate all suggestions I can get from every one of you! Thank you everyone for reading and happy new year in case if I don’t blog before then! Please be safe while celebrating the new year as the new year eve is when everybody goes wild especially with the alcohol which means more dangers on the road by driving while drunk so if any of you are planning on to drink some alcohol on new year eve and have somewhere to go then please have a designated driver or call in a cab for your transportation so to make it safety for everybody else while at same time not ruining both of your fun on the New Year Eve!
