Today is nothing more important than my mother because today is her birthday and I want to say happy birthday, my dearest mom! As some of you see, this isn’t a usual article because it is not a personal letter from me to my mother, which is the most important in the world or universe to me. Every year, celebrating my mother’s birthday is extraordinary; she is still young even though she would deny that, but it is, and she continues to be beautiful as ever. My mom is my entire life; she has done so much for me more than anyone can ever imagine, and it would take a lifetime to give my thanks to my mom because it is countless. She is more than everything; besides being the best mom in the universe, she is also my best friend in the universe. God blessed me her being my mother, she is the best person that God has chosen to be my mother, and I am very blessed to be her son although I am only a child, which is good because so I won’t have to share her with anyone (haha!). My mom and I have done so much together, we have gone through so much together, and we will continue doing that for many more years ago…

I hope that all of you enjoy your Christmas this year; I know that it is not the usual Christmas that many of us accustomed to as we are in a horrible pandemic that prevents many of us from being able to be with other family members or friends, especially on this special holiday day. However, we should keep our distance from others because we do not want to be the ones that expose them to this horrible virus and risk them not seeing them again next Christmas. But the good thing is that there is a technology that allows us to celebrate with our family members or friends, which is virtually such as video chat and or making a telephone call to them. Yes, it is not good as not being there to celebrate with them in person, but we must keep them all ourselves safe to spend time together again next Christmas when this pandemic is hopefully over. DESERT HOT SPRINGS, CALIF – Raven Taylor (no related to this author) has been arrested by Desert Hot Springs Police yesterday (November 19, 2021). He is accused of rape by force/fear, according to the police report. His rape by force/fear charge is felony and carries the 8 years in state prison and/or $10,000 fine. My sources has notified that at Gallaudet University, several women has notified the office of Title IX about Raven’s repeated sexual misconducts but nothing was being done due to the lack of evidence and he got away with it. Raven is a graduate of Indiana School for the Deaf and Gallaudet University. He was a member of Kappa Gamma fraternity. As of November 20, 2021, he is currently employed at California School for the Deaf – Riverside as substitute teacher. It is interesting to note that Raven is the third person to be accused of sexual misconducts coming from Indiana School for the Deaf, Gallaudet University and Kappa Gamma. The first two were Brian Bippus & Colin Whited. One friend told me that she believes that, “Indiana School for the Deaf produces rapists.” It was well known among the peers that Raven boasted that Nyle DiMarco is his cousin. There are a few of trending in the Deaf community, one of them is about a problem that is going on around in the Deaf community about American Sign Language interpreters with conflict of interests, and by American Sign Language interpreters conflict of interests, I mean the American Sign Language interpreters who are already biased due to conflict of interests but went ahead to accept the interpreting job. Biased American Sign Language interpreters are often in violation of the code of ethics, especially through the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID). If you visit the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID) code of ethics page, before getting to the full versions of their code of ethics, you would see one of their tenets number three (3) it says that interpreters conduct themselves in a manner appropriate to the specific interpreter situation and also under seven (7) it says interpreters engage in professional development. But further, it would be 3.7, which it says disclose to parties involved any actual or perceived conflicts of interest. Suppose that American Sign Language interpreter happens to have a conflict of interests. In that case, these are examples of codes of ethics that they violate.
