Most of us remember the day that the airplanes has hit twin towers, the World Trade Center in New York. As it happened in September 11, in 2001 were the day where every one of us were feared when the terrorist invaded our country, United States. Terrorist had hijacked both airplanes, one from American Airlines Flight 11 and one from United Airlines Flight 175 and used the airplanes as weapons to attack us, even the people that aren’t resident in New York were feared by these attacks. Everybody from every states were heartbroken over the people that were killed by those terrorists, it’s the day that we never can forget what has happened. Indeed, a tragic day. As for myself, I remember it very well, at that time I was 14 years old. The attacks happened when I was in school, I remember when the teachers and everybody else were running through the building at the school and were feared, I could tell it from their eyes. I was in one of my teacher’s class room when my mother came in and had told me what was going on and we went to one room and we all were watching news on TV that school had to see what’s going on, everybody at school on that day were surrounded by the television and were watching very closely and I almost still had no clue what it was going on because I don’t know where or what World Trade Center were until few of people had explained me what it was, by that time when we were watching the news one of tower were only hit and I remember watching that the other tower got hit with my own eyes, it was very confusing for myself and a lot of other people with what was going on. And everybody else who were not able to get closer enough to see what was going on television had these small radios on their desks in each class room for everybody to listen, and not too long I believe, the school got announced that we would be leaving school earlier to go home because everybody had no clue what else is happening, we had no idea if there’s more attacks on the way to different places were the reason that a lot of schools got called off.
When we got home from school, we had all of televisions in our house on news channel and watching the news of the attack and listening to reporters and kept our eyes peeled with fear that nothing else can go further and that everybody hoped that the attacks be stopped. I even remember watching thousands of thousands people rushing on the street where the towers were with smokes coming upon them and the help were on their way with the policemen and policewomen rushing along with firetrucks to rush to where the world trade center, the twin towers were at and it was horrible, very horrible to witness and it breaks our hearts. And when that happened, the 9/11 attack we are resided in Kentucky and also in West Virginia as well due to that we lives on right the border of Kentucky and West Virginia as we were going back and forth from our home to our grandmother’s house and to discuss about what’s going on that day.
Even though that we were not attacked in Kentucky, but what state we are from wasn’t matters to me, only matter to me was that mine and everyone else’s country were under attack. My hearts goes out to everybody that witnessed themselves personally, my heart goes out to the family and friends that one of their loved ones got killed in either one of those towers and whoever that it happened to you, my heart goes out for you. I pray for your family and your friends and that I am deeply apologized that you had lost one during the attack. I am thankfully that the one that were responsibility for the attack that had killed one of your loved ones are now killed so that all of you including myself and everybody else can finally rest a bit but even that the one that sent out terrorist to attack us has been killed by our soldier, we can still to this day and never will forget what had happened to that day, September 11, 2001 in New York at World Trade Center.
