I know it is about time that I finally decided to write a new snippets article after a very long time, and I apologize. This year has been hectic for me, including a thing that is a very good thing that happened in my life before that I had a bit of time for articles writing or writing some reviews. If you are a heavy shopper on Amazon like some of the others, including me, Amazon has a service calls Amazon Smile, where they would donate to an organization that you like and donate any commission that they made through your purchases on Amazon without costing you anything. The more stuff you purchase on Amazon, the more money they give to the organization you prefer, and it doesn’t cost you anything because they use the commission (some percent) from your total to that organization. Hence, every time you decide to do some shopping on Amazon, be sure to use the Amazon Smile service! It does keep track of how much funds they have donated to the organization you preferred through your purchases so you can get an idea of how much you have donated without giving anything and that whatever you buy on Amazon, they take some percent from the totals to donate to that organization.
So, the Thanksgiving passed us by, Christmas passed us by as well and now the New Year just passed us by. A lot of holidays in a very short period of time, not only that my mother’s birthday is just a few days after Christmas so it means a lot more presents for her and anyone who has a birthday close to Christmas I bet that they like that they were born so close to the Christmas! I was born in winter but not too soon after Christmas though, as my birthday is three months apart from Christmas so I was pretty much born in late winter as my birthday is in March and that isn’t all because I didn’t mention Valentine’s day! Companies thrive due to that because we always buy their products for somebody and then for ourselves in some cases. As lately, I have been paying a large number of dollars making a drastic improvement by a complete redesign back in January, a move from an small unknown hosting provider to a large server company at the end of February and then paid even for more speed and bandwidth to make it goes from average 2-3 seconds loading speed to 200-800ms. That’s not all, I also had to pay a bunch of backend tools such as a drastic security improvement for all of the websites including JoshiesWorld.com and then paid all the essentials to make sure that all the websites to runs smoothly without any loss. This is the most drastic improvement that I have done for JoshiesWorld.com but some for the rest of others such as JoshuaBSullivan.com and AppalachianCrawlers.com but my priority were all JoshiesWorld.com. Just last week I have hired a professional designer to rework my logo, which is in progress of revisions and waiting for my approval so it should be ready within’ a week if all is well. My focus is making sure that it is smoother, faster, secured and easier to use. Now the next is marketing, not just that I also have another project that I am planning on to work on.
