I am way behind on the hot topic and news on the Deaf community in general, mainly because I have been very busy lately and I could never find the time to write an article anywhere including my blog here but at least I will share my thought about this topic “Deaf Cultural Genocide” that was going around a few weeks ago. That would be better than not sharing any thoughts of mine on that topic so here I am to give a piece of my thought on the topic that was trending in the Deaf community, several weeks ago an associate professor at Gallaudet University wrote an article stating that if anyone who is Deaf or Hard of Hearing decides to participate in the medical or science research that supposedly cure deafness by receiving genetic therapy that they would allow a form of cultural genocide and it would be unethical of them to do so. There are medical research labs or sciences especially that specialize in stem cells, compete to come up with a proven cure to eliminate the deafness either at birth or at some minimum to maximum ages for anyone who want to have the ability to hear and or that the child who was discovered Deaf after the birth to have the ability to hear at…

Hey guys and women! How are all of you doing? I hope that all of you are doing well, considering that we are somewhat having a taste of the winter as in eastern part of the United States is at 15 degree, especially over here in the state of Kentucky so it is obviously a bit cold and it is just the beginning of going into the winter. I am doing well myself over here, we got a lot of the heaters going on with the house’s heater, a couple of portable electric heaters and kerosene heater in the living room. With these heats going, the electric portable heaters and the house’s heater is having a bit difficult of catching up to the temperature that we have set for the house so that mean obviously that it is cold here but we are doing fine though. I notice that we just started getting low temperatures for the winter in December, which is a bit different because if I recall correctly, last year and maybe a few years before that we usually hit around 20-30 degrees in the beginning month of January. It’s middle of the month December, we are hitting the range of 10-20 degrees so that’s about 10-15 degrees and one month difference so I suspect that it is…
Most of us bloggers who have a passion in blogging or journalism always seeks a way to improve ourselves as a blogger, because there is always a way to improve our blogging skills and looking a way to build our creditable because whether it be as bloggers or in any forms of journalism such as reporting or editing newspaper it is very important that we have a creditable to back ourselves otherwise it would be hard to gain some trust from readers. Some of the people don’t think bloggers have a place in journalism, as the journalists that works in newspapers blamed us bloggers for wrecking their journalists career because since the early 2000s the blogosphere boomed and being able to deliver information quicker than newspaper would be so many newspapers lost their readers to us which this means they realized that so they decided to start their own blogs (some of them call it online newspaper but it’s blog even though they will deny that) and laid off old-fashioned newspaper editors or their employees that takes care of printing newspapers using linotype machine which is what used to produce newspapers after editors wrote a draft then passed it down to linotypers. Last year on June 26, 2014 New York Times have written an article with the title that says “What’s the Matter With Eastern Kentucky?” has been discovered by some Facebook users which I am a bit surprised because of the article was written over a year ago and it shows that not many residents in Eastern Kentucky reads New York Times as New York Times is in the top 10 most popular news media outlet especially with their New York Times blog since millions of people have gone digital as opposed to buying the materials which are the newspaper or magazines paperback. Every now and then there is some of the very odd news that have surfaced on the internet especially when it comes to hearing something being invented by a certain company that absolutely does not make any sense at all, now just recently there has been one of the odd news that have surfaced on the internet about a company that is having some of the interests in inventing something or more so to enter an industry and this one is very nonsense. Some of you may have heard some of the news for few days or about a month now about General Motors which is a company who manufacture automobiles such as GMC, Chevrolet, Cadillac and few more brands under General Motors company where everyone is having problems with the new vehicles they bought from one of the brand under General Motors at some of the General Motors dealership and these problems have increased every day and so is the lawsuit cases because there is several automobiles that is manufactured by General Motors company have been recalled due to some faulty parts or such in one of the brands manufactured by General Motors owners’ new vehicles especially General Motors newest vehicles such as 2014 and 2015.
