Two days ago, there was a video that caught my attention through the news feed on Facebook, in that video it was an American Sign Language lesson in profanity by Nyle DiMarco and for past these two days since that video caught my attention I have kept my eyes on the commentary where the Deaf community would share their opinion on the video of Nyle DiMarco’s American Sign Language lesson in profanity. While there are a lot of people who have shared their views about it and I have not. I never left a comment, tweet or wrote a wall post on Facebook because at that time I had to think hard because I admit that at that time I was baffled – too baffled to think of what to say I guess. So, now that two days have passed or three, I decided that I should just go ahead and share my opinion on what Nyle DiMarco did in the video where he teach profanity using our native language which is American Sign Language. Hey guys and women! I see that a lot of the people starts getting back to their routines, back to work, some adults being sent back to the colleges and some children being sent back to schools which I am sure that some of the parents are a bit happy about that since with their children being sent back to school would give them a little relief or some room to breathe after trying to handle these wild children for a couple of the weeks due to Christmas break. My mother is a special aide at a middle school as she has been for more than a decade or two, she assists the children with some kinds of special needs and I think she has worked for so many years so I sometimes would ask her to retire so that I could have my mother at home without having to worry about if something was to happen to her there. For some reason, as the years goes by I starts getting more worried over her going to work because I believe that if she is to retire that she would have much less risks to her health and by retiring I believe that she will continue to be very healthy as she is now. As some of you know that we decided to take a vacation in Tennessee as I wrote a post a few days ago under the title “Just Got Back and Blogging” where I said that I have just got back home from Tennessee after spending three nights there and that I would be put blogging aside because while I was in Tennessee on vacation, I decided to record a video of the most times that I have been there so that all of you guys could feel as if you were there with me as well. Where I records a lot of videos down there in Tennessee, ranging from Pigeon Forge to Gatlinburg and I recorded a lot of videos. Several hours of many videos, of course that means that they need to be edited because you would need to edit several videos to make one video and at the same time trying to trim off some unnecessary parts in these videos because it would be pointless to show some parts where it was just laying on a table facing a wall. Hey guys! I am sure that some of you noticed that I haven’t blogged for a few days, so to let you know that I couldn’t find any time to blog at all because we were in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg in Tennessee for a short vacation while at the same time visiting my mother’s cousin in the hospital as she was put in ICU due to severe pneumonia when she and her family were vacationing in Tennessee too a few weeks ago. Thankfully she is now stable, she has been transferred from the hospital in Sevierville, TN to her home in Columbus, Ohio and is doing well. I could not find any time to blog, whatsoever and I have wanted to blog as I have tried hard to find a time to blog but every time I thought I could find a time to do so then stuff quickly gets in the way every time I found a time to do so. But good news is that I am back home, I have recorded a bunch of videos for the Rod Run Grand in Pigeon Forge and some Gatlinburg in Tennessee but bad news is that I probably won’t be able to find any time to blog for a few days even though I am back home now but…
In the evening on Friday I have decided that I should take a video of the daytime in the evening into the night using GoPro Hero4 Black Edition, just to give me something to do and I was due to have a video anyway since I haven’t recorded any videos in a very long time so ever since I started watching some videos on YouTube where some people records using their GoPro which that inspired me to actually start using my GoPro Hero4 Black Edition instead of letting it collects some dust well the case that GoPro is in collects dust. Ever since the memorial weekend where I decided for the first time that I want to put my GoPro Hero4 Black Edition in use, not only that I also bought GoPro Session on that same week before the memorial weekend because I wanted to use the GoPro Hero 4 Black Edition on the mount at the front of my ATV and use the GoPro Session for moving around either on a pole (GoPro 3-way) or clipped to the front of my hat. Last weekend we have decided that we would go riding on four wheelers as I own ATVs or some just prefer to call them four wheelers but I like to call them ATV because when you say four wheelers, most of times the trucks comes to mind although ATV can be called four-wheeler as well so sometimes it’s a bit confusing when it comes to talking about four-wheeler because sometimes people would think it means truck and sometimes people would think it means ATV. So calling them ATV would be more straightforward in my opinion, hence they are classified that and what more it can be confusing too because some people calls the side by side ATV as well but they are classified as UTV which is what I also like to call them myself; UTV stands for Utility Terrain Vehicle and ATV is All-Terrain Vehicle. Nonetheless back to the subject, Ballfork Mountain which is a very beautiful mountain that I like going to as much as I can when I have the time or energy to do so and Ballfork Mountain is found in Blackberry, Kentucky which is here in the United States so if you ever decide to come visiting the United States for trail riding on either ATV or UTV/SXS I would highly recommend that Ballfork Mountain…
FaceBook’s Video Comment.
I am the one, I am sure there are many of others too who pressed Mark Zuckerberg to add video function to the comment for the FaceBook because before I started pressing Mark Zuckerberg the CEO of FaceBook it only has pictures function where you could upload pictures in the comment but not video and I decided to send a message to CEO of FaceBook Mark Zuckerberg that I suggest for him to add the video option along with the picture in the comment function because I have seen where several Deaf or Hard of Hearing people have complained about not being able to respond to anyone’s post with a vlog in American Sign Language so I suggested that Mark Zuckerberg to add the video function to the comment section instead of just only the photo function in the comment. This was not only one message as I have sent Facebook’s CEO Mark Zuckerberg on regular basis to remind him that he need to add video function to the comment because so that it would allow us Deaf community to be able to respond our family members or our friends wall post with vlog and that we can respond using our language American Sign Language instead of text comment.
