Thought?

There was a pressing problem with my iPhone 8 plus, which I own for over a couple years now and I plan to continue using it even though I am overdue for a contract renewal but I am holding it out because of highly anticipated new iPhone this year in 2020. They are talking about how 2020 is the year that everyone should be on the lookout for, especially for iPhone and this is my holdup reason so I am holding out for one in September 2020. Nonetheless, when a gadget ages it usually becomes more risk for a problem and like there is a saying – nothing is unbreakable. My iPhone 8 Plus screen started coming off on one side, the problem wasn’t my screen, it was the iPhone’s battery and the screen started coming out of its body (phone) due to battery swallowing up.

Yes, battery do swallow up if you heavily rely on charging your device and this what happens to my iPhone because I always have my phone hooked to my desktop for charging and syncing because in my mind that I always should keep my iPhone to the full charge in case if anything happens such as power outage or if we are going somewhere unexpected or other reasons.

My iPhone battery swallowed up, it pushed the screen out of its place and it’s not something that you can just pop it back in the place because in order to keep the screen on while being sealed is using a special kind of glue (no, not superglue so don’t go there). Took it to Tech Medical Center in Pikeville, Ky which it was the first time that I had sent in my device to be repaired locally because if I had a problem with like my MacBook Pro I would send them out to Apple HQ for a repair but this time I decided to get it done locally for my iPhone because I felt that Apple charge too much for a repair on older model so the best alternative is getting it repaired by a local tech repair shop. I am sure glad that I took a leap of the faith because I try to resist to get my devices repaired by a local repair shop and whatnot as I always want to have my devices to be repaired by the same company that made them.

Tech Medical Center took in my iPhone 8 plus, showed it to my mother saying that the battery is too bad off because it has swallowed up so much (obviously as it pushed the screen out) and that if I had held it out any longer than my iPhone would be exploding at any time so I was fortunate that I had gotten it to the local tech repair shop in time before it did. They took it in back, took the battery out and showed my mother the battery itself explaining what I just said above about the fact that my battery swallowed up so that it would explode at any time if we hadn’t brought it in for a repair any sooner. They took the screen off, replaced the battery and then use a special glue (technology adhesive glue) to seal the screen back in. They literally saved my iPhone, at the same time saved me from having to spend for a new iPhone or a used one just to hold on for a few more months before for that new iPhone in 2020. I am very pleased with them, they were very professional, knowledgable and they charged me very reasonably which is definitely a lot lower than Apple HQ would charge or most of the other tech repair shops including the one over in Logan would charge you. I am rating Tech Medical Center, LLC 4.3 which will be the highest-rated for business on JoshiesWorld for the time being! That’s closer to extraordinary and greater than great! If you are looking to have your device(s) repaired, such as your phone screen, battery, laptop, desktop computer, and whatnot do not look anywhere further than Tech Medical Center LLC in Pikeville, Ky on Weddington Branch Road! They will definitely charge you very reasonable, that is definitely for sure because I have contacted other places (including the one over in Logan) and Tech Medical Center was the most reasonable when it comes to pricing.

NOTE: The price range is the average, between and or close to what they charged for a battery replacement. Every phone, every laptop, every computer desk, every tablet, and every other device is different so be sure to call them or visit there to ask them for a price on your tech repair.
