The Resident

As in another review, I have stated that The Good Doctor tv show is one of the “other” best doctor shows and that the other is The Resident! I cannot get enough of this show, this is a unique doctor show because unlike other doctors shows where they would operate and whatnot this show The Resident has more feeling to it. Some doctor shows you would often see the doctors getting to operate the patients on the table, feeding them medicines and dismissing them or admitting them for surgery but on The Resident show is where you will see that if there see anything wrong they will personally hold them accountable. The doctors in The Resident became more of like a family who would have their back and as well the patients who need their help. For instance, in an episode there was one equipment calls VNS where it was supposed to “cure” some kind of mental issues like seizures or others but in the end they failed them and they realized that the CEO of the hospital was paid by the company who made the VNS so they approached the CEO about that and to a surprise the hospital CEO supported them by severing the ties with the VNS maker but only to benefit the father of Conrad which is one of the main actors in the show.

That is the only spoiler I can give but it is packed with drama, it’s not one of these doctors shows that you get to see them operating on the table too often because it’s more about the story although you will see them operating the patients but not as often as you would see in other doctor shows.

If you have watched a television show like House which is a semi-old doctor show, then The Resident is almost like it except that it’s a team with Conrad instead of the House doctor himself and it is more of drama with some action in it. I would and do choose The Resident over House TV show, House show was my all-time favorite doctor show but The Resident has just pushed that out as my favorite doctors show house, now The Resident, The Good Doctor, The New Amsterdam, and The Grey Anatomy is all of my favorite doctors shows which I will be reviewing two of these in short future.

I highly recommend The Resident, again like I said if you are a fan of House M.D. TV show then you are definitely going to be a fan of this show because it is five times better, as I said it is a drama doctor TV show but with a bit of suspense, romance and action. Definitely will get your heart racing, will get you on the edge of a seat and will get you to root for Conrad when he’s holding the corruption accountable. When you started watching The Resident you will not want to stop watching because it will just keep getting good and it will keep on leading you to the next episodes with a lot of questions to ponder about what will happen in the next episode. It’s that good.
