Thought?:

We know that The Walking Dead TV series is one of the most popular and as well one of the most beloved television shows. When AMC launched The Walking Dead TV series, it has got the comic fans going crazy and as well the people that don’t read the comic considering that The Walking Dead is from a comic. If we talk about the authenticity of The Walking Dead show from The Walking Dead comic then we know that they fail because they are not exactly accurate especially when it comes to characters and as well some of the story. Some lasted longer than supposed to be, some lasted some shorter than supposed to be and as well they create the story of their own on top of some of the story that was from The Walking Dead comic book.

The bottom line, it works at least for the most part and The Walking Dead have become one of my favorite television show because of three characters. Of course, Rick Grimes which he was the main actor or more so the face for The Walking Dead TV series, Daryl Dixon which is basically Rick’s sidekick or right-hand man and Glenn Rhee which was pretty much another sidekick of Rick’s at the beginning of The Walking Dead show. All of these three characters are the ones that make The Walking Dead what they are, The Walking Dead along with Carl Grimes which is the son of Rick Grimes but he wasn’t important character until later down the road and they have done killed a ton of zombies together!

Every episodes from The Walking Dead would leave you some questions to ponder on about what would or could be happening in the next episode, usually when television show do that it means that they are a good television show to watch because we don’t want to tell ourselves the common question such as “is that all?” and The Walking Dead gets us questioning about what tactic or strategy they would or could be doing in the next episode. Which will get killed? Who will survive? Will the group be able to survive in that prison building against the governor? So, when they basically throw us one or a couple of questions for us to ponder about the next new episode and then answer these questions we may ponder on but again they leave us another question or couple questions to ponder on again for another new episode!

From the beginning, the first season of The Walking Dead to the last episode of season eight (8) was great at least in my opinion and then the actor for Rick Grimes decided to leave or retire from The Walking Dead that pretty much made The Walking Dead show to stink. Although, the good news is that we still only have very few remaining members of the original group especially like Daryl who was Rick Grimes’s right-hand man and on the casting roll call Daryl took the number one (#1) which belonged to Rick Grimes for several seasons. Now that Rick Grimes has left The Walking Dead, The Walking Dead basically mixes which one that is the leading character now because is it, Daryl, from the original members’ group? Or is it Judith Grimes, the daughter of Rick Grimes being groomed to lead by Michonne? Or is it Michonne herself? Or to our surprise, they are grooming Negan to be a right-hand of the new leading character? I don’t know and I think they don’t know either because it seems that they are having difficulty in deciding that. No, the group cannot be the leaders to lead the group like the so-called board of Alexandria. At the end of the day, there must be one person that leads the group just as the Rick Grimes did.

For the ones who are a fan of The Walking Dead, the good news is that they are going to continue to renew the season(s) for The Walking Dead and they just did the whole season (9th) without Rick Grimes. By the glance in The Walking Dead community, there are a lot of negatives especially some say that they refuse to watch the ninth season and now they are being in tenth (10th) seasons because Rick Grimes is no longer there. So, all I can say is the time only can tell is if they can successfully produce The Walking Dead shows without Rick Grimes and an entire season without Rick Grimes does not bring us the final answer to that question so there will have to be a couple or maybe three seasons for us to determine if they are still a good television show without Rick Grimes being the face for The Walking Dead.

In my opinion, without spoiling too much in case that some of you have not watched the show, season 1 through 6 were the best then seven and eight were good but with Rick Grimes leaving right in the middle of season eight it starts to get a bit confusing because it’s hard to tell who is the leader and who is doing what. If Rick Grimes were still leading, I would rate this 4 or maybe over but without Rick Grimes and the confusion that it is causing us especially in the department of which is who. The 9th season was almost bland, although there were good moments the rest was bland and you can tell that they are working on to have a new identity for The Walking Dead without Rick Grimes. I do and definitely would recommend The Walking Dead with no question asked! But just know that without Rick Grimes, it does stink a bit and it did show it in the ninth season. So, with this said I am rating The Walking Dead from the beginning of the season to ninth seasons a 3.8 which is pretty much a B grade. It’s a very good television show and it’s one of my favorite television show although that is only for first to season 8. Because of Rick Grimes is no longer in it, I rate it as 3.6 but then because there is a Deaf woman actor in it (Lauren Ridloff) and that puts in 2 more so totaling 3.8!
