Philip Haywood is the head coach for football at very well-known high school, Belfry High School in Kentucky. It is sitting in the Pike County in Belfry in the state of Kentucky. He has been head coach for Belfry High School football for roughly 38 years and is continuing to coach the football at one of the very best high school. His set a high record for the most winnings coach for a high school in Kentucky and Belfry High School is in region 4 and has made few trips to championships, especially 6+ trips to championships and has won two championship titles under his belt however Belfry High School has more than two championships under different head coaches but Philip Haywood is the one who has won the most and won the most championships than any of other former coaches at Belfry High School.
His stats of record is that he has been head coach of Belfry High School for 38+ years as I have mentioned above and he has a career record of 362-125. He pushed Belfry High school football team to 6+ trips to championships which is quite several however only be able to bring back two which was in 2003-2004. He also recently took Belfry High School to championship as well however came back with a loss but what is great is that he has made several trips to the championships even if bringing back home few loses but that is more than some of high school football teams in Kentucky and he deserves more knowledge of that, more credits than anyone gives him for his work as a head coach in Belfry High School football team.
Indeed he is excellent head coach especially that he has worked more than 36 years that says how loyal he is to his team and to Belfry High School. Also another thing, Coach Haywood is one of great guy I have known and yes I certainly do know him and proud to call him my friend and there is a reason for that and it is because I am a graduate student of Belfry High School and is a fan of Belfry High school team and their mascot is Pirate and I am a proud pirate, out of all sports and things that goes at Belfry High School such as band, JROTC and among other classes and activities the football is what they are known for and anyone that lives in Kentucky looks upon Belfry High School football team especially in Pike County. Another thing what a lot of people doesn’t know this is that I was considering to drop out in senior, I know that it was dumb idea especially that I was considering to drop out in my senior year which was only, maybe 4 or 5 months left until I graduated but I was angry at the time for some reason and I went to the office to discuss about dropping out and Coach Haywood was the one who gave me the courage to not drop out and told me to stay in and gave me the advice that made me feel more relieved.
Now for all the things he has done for Belfry High School and their football team and as well the students that attends at Belfry High school and as well the former students that Coach Haywood was close to including myself, he would always find the time to have a talk with you in the hall way and talk about things in the general. We all should give him thanks for the things he has done by going to a website and vote him as a best head coach overall on high school voting contest website which is found here: Click here to vote him for best coach and look for him by a letter of “G“.
