WhatsApp: The Review!

Have ever you heard an app called WhatsApp? If not then it’s text messaging service on steroid basically, better than your typical text messaging app that comes with your smartphone because using text messaging on your smartphone you can only send text message, picture or video messaging. On WhatsApp app has more features as a text messaging service where you can send text, video, picture, audio, share a contact, share map and others. I have downloaded WhatsApp today for my Iphone for the first time to give it a try to see what’s the fuzz over it because WhatsApp is growing very fast in apps world and it’s so popular that FaceBook bought it for $19 billion dollars, not M as in million but B as in billion dollars of course it caught my attention as it would anyone else so I had to give it a try today and after trying it out I must say that it’s one of best app I have ever came across surprisingly because I am not apps junkie like several people with smartphones are.

WhatsApp isn’t completely free service but you do get free service for a year then after that it will cost you $0.99 every year which is quite reasonable I think considering that it’s basically a dollar and isn’t going to harm your wallet much especially with the features you get. If you have used WhatsApp before you might have to pay $0.99 annually but if it is your first time using it then you get a free year. Whatsapp is available for almost every smartphone there is in market and the interface is simple and beautifully designed that attracts you to keep using it. If you haven’t try WhatsApp app then I suggest you to give it a try to see if you like it.

WhatsApp is the most useful for people especially oversea or in other countries from United States or anyone that have tight budget and not being able to afford text messaging feature. You can have text messaging by using WhatsApp app without being required to pay for text messaging as long as you have data on your smartphone which is affordable depending on who you are with or is available in your area but even if you cannot afford data for your smartphone you can still have text messaging for your smartphone by using WhatsApp app by using Wi-Fi. WhatsApp have thousands of millions users registered on WhatsApp and that is quite impressive amounts of users especially that it being just app. I like WhatsApp myself after giving it a try today even though I have text messaging and data both for my smartphone and only reason why I like the app is because like I said it’s like text messaging on steroid.

Here’s the link to get the app to download and install on your smartphone and be sure to select the right smartphone maker and if you would like to know a bit more about WhatsApp you can read about it over there: WhatsApp.com.

Are you using WhatsApp? What do you think of it? If you aren’t then I recommend you to give it a try and then leave a comment below to let me know what you think of it.
